St. John's is perfectly situated with the ocean visible just beyond a pine forest. Both the partial ocean view and the full ocean view rooms offer stunning scenery.
However, if the view is your top priority, it's best to avoid ocean view rooms in the Pine Tower that might have obstructed sightlines.
I personally prefer the twin rooms; the beds are spacious enough, making them ideal for 2-3 travelers.
