Feels like an outdoor wedding venue
After checking out, we were planning to go to Jeondeungsa Temple,
but it felt a little too early.
So, we decided to find a cafe, and this is where we ended up.
We figured if we were going, we might as well go somewhere famous,
and this is the gem we found...

If you drive past the store and continue straight, there's a separate dedicated parking lot.

This is what you see when you first walk in.
You pre-order and get a buzzer,
then find a seat and wait for it to buzz to pick up your order.
There were so many types of bread,
but my second child's absolute favorite is
croissants, so we only ordered those.
Even the restrooms are pretty! Haha.
While the indoor area is lovely,
the outdoor space is truly stunning!
It feels like you've stepped into an outdoor wedding venue.
They say it's a pension (guesthouse) that was renovated and turned into a cafe.
There was even a swimming pool!
And now, for the outdoor area!
Blending beautifully with the white building of Tocraphy (which, surprisingly, *used* to be a guesthouse!)
Everything – the lush grass, the sparkling sea, and the endless sky –
somehow gives off a distinct Mediterranean vibe
(even though I'm not entirely sure what a 'Mediterranean vibe' truly entails!),
and even feels like a picturesque outdoor wedding venue!
We settled into a spot right by the ocean,
but since it was still early spring, there was a definite chill in the air.
To truly soak in the ambiance,
we chose a table right by the beachfront.
My husband, however, wasn't quite as thrilled, asking, 'It's cold, why are we sitting out here?!' 😉
While we saw the mudflats stretching out,
I'm sure if you catch the tide just right, you'll be treated to a sparkling, expansive sea view!
Each of the individual guesthouse units also comes equipped with its own tables and chairs.
Please note that the guesthouse area is a no-kids zone.
This is likely due to their duplex-style layout with two levels,
as they're probably concerned about children potentially getting hurt while playing.
These are all independent spaces, each designed with its own unique feel,
and each seems to accommodate around 3 to 4 tables.
It feels like they’ve simply added tables and chairs wherever space permitted,
with the idea of fitting as many unique seating arrangements as possible!
creating a wonderfully diverse setup.
I heard it gets completely packed on weekends, so...
I'm so glad we visited at this time!
It was also wonderful to see all the different interior designs scattered throughout,
each corner offering a new visual delight.

Here's what we ordered:
Mugwort Latte (their signature!) ~$5
Vanilla Bean Latte ~$6
Chocolate Latte ~$5
Croissant ~$4
It seemed warm during the day, so
we ordered iced drinks,
but by the ocean, it was a bit chilly.....
So we ended up moving indoors, haha!
As for the drinks:
The Mugwort Latte wasn't too sweet, which was nice.
They say it's their signature menu item,
but to me, it tasted pretty average;
The Vanilla Bean Latte was decent too..
(Maybe I'll appreciate it more if I try a really bad one later?)
And why was the croissant so expensive?! T_T;;;;
I wanted to order more, but the price was just too much,
so we just stuck with one. 😥
Overall,
the prices were on the higher side,
but you're really paying for the amazing location! 😅
With the warm sunlight pouring in,
the kids occasionally wandered around,
and my husband was dozing off a bit.
(It's tough following us ladies around, haha!)

Parking is available directly in front of the cafe. Additionally, if you continue straight past the cafe, you can use a separate dedicated parking lot.
The signature Mugwort Latte is ~$5, Vanilla Bean Latte is ~$6, and Chocolate Latte is ~$5. Among the bread items, a croissant is sold for ~$4.
Inside the former pension building, there are 3-4 independent spaces, each with a different ambiance. These spaces are designed with multiple levels, and for the safety of children, they are operated as a "No Kids Zone."
From the outdoor seaside seating, you can see the sparkling sea when the tide is right. However, during spring, the seaside can be chilly, so it's advisable to consider the weather when visiting or to opt for indoor seating.
