Essential Tips Before Visiting Ganghwa Anglican Church 💡

As one of South Korea's oldest cathedrals, Ganghwa Anglican Church welcomes visitors daily from 10 AM to 6 PM, offering free entry to all.

Just a heads-up: access to the church is restricted on Sunday mornings during the 10:30 AM service. If you're planning a weekend trip, it's best to visit outside of Sunday mornings to ensure you can explore fully!

The expansive churchyard is an ideal spot to capture some memorable photos. If you visit on a weekday when it's less crowded, you'll have plenty of time to snap pictures and leisurely explore the surroundings.

While it's not a lavishly decorated tourist attraction, the sheer aura of the architecture itself makes exploring the area a truly worthwhile experience.

As it's still an active church, you can step inside and explore the interior. Just remember to switch to the provided slippers before entering.

Do keep in mind that interior viewing might not be possible on Sunday mornings when services are being held.
