Navigating London's notoriously high prices can be a challenge, but finding a gem like the Euston Square Hotel feels like a beacon of hope! This budget-friendly hotel isn't just affordable; its prime location means both Euston Station (for trains) and Euston Square Tube Station are less than a 5-minute walk away. This puts you within easy reach of London's top attractions, from Buckingham Palace and the London Eye to the National Gallery and the British Museum.
I booked a 4-night, 5-day stay for around ~$570 through Agoda during the peak season in late November. You'll likely find it at the top of the search results if you click the link above.

This is a 3-star hotel, and you can conveniently drop off your luggage at the lobby before checking in. There's also a restaurant on the ground floor with a surprisingly decent ambiance and menu.

Honestly, despite the affordable price, the room size was a bit of a shock at first! Once you open up two suitcases, there's barely any space left to move around freely.

And let's talk about the elevator – it's incredibly slow, making every trip feel like an eternity. I remembered reading reviews that said, 'Besides the location and price, everything else is a drawback!' But honestly, those two advantages – location and price – are so compelling that it's hard to pass up. It's clear many other travelers agree, as the hotel is always buzzing with guests.

We opted for the cheapest room, but if you go for a slightly more expensive option, you'll get a size more like this!

Interestingly, the bathroom and shower area were surprisingly spacious – almost a third of the room's total size! The hot water supply was excellent, and the water pressure was fantastic.

The ground-floor restaurant also offered good value. The food was... decent, especially for London standards! If you're expecting a 3-star hotel experience like you might find in, say, North America, you might be a little disappointed. However, finding a hotel in London at this price point with this level of service and comfort is genuinely tough. The staff are friendly, and the accessibility is superb. If you opt for one of the slightly larger rooms, you're sure to have a comfortable stay!

When booked through Agoda, a 4-night, 5-day stay during the peak season at the end of November cost ~$570. This is the rate for the cheapest room type; you can upgrade to a slightly larger room for an additional fee.
Both the Euston railway station and the Euston Square underground station are located within a 5-minute walk. Thanks to this excellent access to public transportation, you can easily travel to major attractions such as Buckingham Palace, the London Eye, and the British Museum.
The cheapest room is very cramped, leaving no space to move around freely if you open two suitcases. Additionally, a downside is that the hotel's elevator is very slow, which can be frustrating when moving between floors.
