Yeongjongdo & Eulwangri Pet-Friendly 2-Day Itinerary 2026: Coastal Escapes
Looking for a paw-some escape? Our 2-day pet-friendly itinerary for Yeongjongdo and Eulwangri in 2026 covers scenic trails, delicious seafood, and cozy cafes, all with your furry companion!

The weather has been absolutely glorious lately, so my furry companion, Mocha, and I spontaneously embarked on a wonderful 2-day trip to Eulwangri! It had been a while since I visited Korea's West Coast, but it's so conveniently close to Seoul and offers stunning ocean views. What made it even better? The abundance of pet-friendly restaurants and cafes – a huge win! If your pet is in a carrier or stroller, most places welcome them. I spent a good amount of time planning our route, and it turned out to be a fantastic itinerary, which I'm excited to share with you all!

Yeongjongdo 2-Day Itinerary Day 1: From Yedanpo to Guupbaetteo
A Day Filled with Scenic Walks and Delicious Seafood
We kicked off our first day with a leisurely stroll along the Yedanpo Dulle-gil trail. The expansive ocean views made Mocha incredibly excited! The path is well-maintained and easy to walk, and the refreshing sea breeze was perfect for unwinding. It almost felt like walking along one of Jeju Island's beautiful coastal trails.
The trail isn't overly long (with a slight incline), so you can comfortably explore it at a relaxed pace within 30 minutes to an hour.

After our walk, we headed to Boiling88 for lunch. This spot serves American-style seafood boils, a cuisine I absolutely adore ever since having an amazing seafood boil in Hawaii years ago.
It's pet-friendly indoors, and the food was fantastic! We ordered the Original Boiling (for two) and added pasta. I highly recommend adding the pasta – mixing it with the leftover sauce is incredibly delicious!

Mocha had such a great time walking that she happily rested in her carrier while we enjoyed our meal.

After lunch, we made our way to the Ocean Solareview Hotel to check in! The hotel offered great value, was incredibly clean, and boasted beautiful ocean views – we were very satisfied. I'll share more details about the accommodation in a future post!

The area around Guupbaetteo (Old Port Ferry Terminal) has well-maintained walking paths and is a lovely spot to enjoy the sea. For dinner, we went to Cheongchun Jogae Guupbaetteo, which was just a 3-minute walk from our hotel. You can enjoy your meal with an ocean view from the second-floor window, and it's pet-friendly! We brought Mocha in her carrier, but they kindly offered us a stroller. Since the chairs didn't have backs, it was a bit awkward to place Mocha's carrier, so the stroller was a lifesaver!
We were the only ones at the pet-friendly table, and most of the other diners were families or couples. Even on a weekday, it was quite busy. While most people were enjoying grilled clams, we had eaten a lot of scallops recently. So, perfectly timed for crab season, we ordered steamed crab and crab mayo grill! If I had to pick just one, the crab mayo grill was richer and more delicious.
The crabs were fresh, and we could enjoy unlimited ramen, tteokbokki, and corn cheese from the self-service bar, making it a truly satisfying and filling meal. I'd love to try their grilled clams on our next visit.

Yeongjongdo 2-Day Itinerary Day 2: Eulwangri Beach & Cafe Delights
A Relaxed Beach Stroll
We started our second day with a leisurely brunch (waking up close to 10 AM!). We visited Yongyu Eobo, a grilled fish restaurant. The side dishes were clean and fresh, and ordering the assorted grilled fish gave us four types: mackerel, Spanish mackerel, Atka mackerel, and flounder. They were all perfectly grilled to be crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, making for a wonderfully comforting meal. This place would be fantastic to visit with parents or older family members!
During peak lunch hours, many local office workers come here, so you might encounter a wait. I recommend going slightly before or after standard meal times. We went at 11 AM on a weekday and found it pleasantly uncrowded. Just in case, I made a reservation online beforehand. Pet strollers or carriers are welcome, making it a truly pet-friendly spot.

After our meal, we drove to Eulwangri Beach for a relaxing stroll. Then, we visited Blanc Cafe, perfectly situated in the middle of Eulwangri Beach, offering panoramic ocean views! It's a rather large cafe spanning the 3rd and 4th floors. We ordered on the 3rd floor and headed up to the 4th, which boasts an even better view and open windows, letting in the delightful sound of the waves!

They offer a wide variety of cakes and cookies, and their coffee is excellent, along with a diverse selection of other beverages. Pets under approximately 22 pounds (10 kg) are welcome if they are in a carrier. We heard they sometimes have a resident dog, but there wasn't one when we visited.

Our recent Eulwangri trip was incredibly satisfying, offering the perfect blend of beach relaxation, scenic walks, delicious dining, and pet-friendly accommodation, all in one go. Its close proximity to Seoul and the surrounding metropolitan area made it an ideal, stress-free getaway! I'm sure we'll be back again the next time we're craving a quick beach escape on a weekend.
