Following my previous staycation at Enford Hotel (엔포드호텔) in Cheongju (청주), this time I'm excited to share my breakfast experience! Our breakfast spot was the VIA LATTEA buffet! Just a quick reminder from my previous stay review: make sure to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. It’s always a good idea to double-check if breakfast is included when you’re booking, as room-only options can differ significantly from packages.
My first plate was loaded with a mix of Korean staples like rice and fried rice, alongside eggs and some meat — a hearty start to the day! Honestly, the taste was pretty standard, nothing that truly wowed me, but certainly satisfying for a hotel breakfast.
On my second plate, I grabbed some bread and a fresh salad. My expectation wasn't for a gourmet feast, but rather the convenience and comfort of having a morning meal right at the hotel.
I also enjoyed a warm bowl of pho, which was a nice addition to the spread. When planning your stay, I recommend comparing the rates for room-only versus packages that include breakfast and other amenities. It often comes down to finding the best value for your travel dates and preferences.
Of course, I couldn't resist a croissant and a bagel! I tend to keep my savory and sweet items on separate plates, haha. The buffet had a decent selection of pastries to choose from.
An omelet station was also available, offering another classic breakfast option. Between the egg dishes and baked goods, there were enough choices to start the day right.
Looking back through my photos, I apparently took more pictures of the bread! Overall, it was a perfectly decent breakfast experience, worth trying at least once during your stay.
They also had a selection of jams to accompany the bread. I had my breakfast as part of a package. If you're looking to book, I recommend comparing prices for the same dates on the sites below. Make sure to check the number of people included in the breakfast and the cancellation policy!
