We checked in for two nights starting on October 2nd, 2026. Having been away from home for nearly three days, I made sure to take out all the trash and pack everything up before heading out – a true vacation pre-game!

First things first, we stopped at a rest area to grab some classic road trip snacks – ramen, a twisted potato, and cheese sticks. Fueling up is key for any adventure!

Talk about an optical illusion!

While not a brand-new build, the hotel has undergone extensive remodeling. You can still spot a few charming hints of its history, but it's generally well-maintained and modern.

Remember, check-in is on the 21st floor, so you'll need to take the dedicated hotel elevator to reach the lobby.

Inside the elevator, you'll find a nod to local history with a display of Jikji. For those unfamiliar, Jikji Simche Yojeol is an ancient Korean Buddhist document, recognized by UNESCO as the world's oldest extant book printed with movable metal type – pretty cool!

Being on one of the top floors, the space felt really open and the views were quite pleasant. While it might not be a dramatic city skyline, the surrounding buildings are relatively low, allowing for incredible natural light to flood the room – perfect for bright mornings!

On the opposite side, you'll find the 21 Lounge, which even offers a fantastic happy hour with 2-for-1 cocktails from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

We stayed in room 714, a charming Boutique Twin room. We opted for the Enfod Stay Package, which included both breakfast and access to the swimming pool – because for us, a great hotel breakfast and a refreshing swim are non-negotiables!

One of the best things about a twin room is having two beds! It's perfect for separating your "clean" sleeping space from your "just got back from exploring and haven't showered yet" lounging space. Plus, it gives you extra room for luggage and spreading out, which is always a bonus.

By the window, there's a cozy sofa and two surprisingly sturdy tables. These came in incredibly handy for our late-night chicken feast on our last evening – perfect for spreading out snacks and drinks!

The TV comes equipped with Android Auto, which is a nice touch! You'll also find a coffee machine and some complimentary cookies in the room.

Guests staying in Boutique, Premier, or Suite rooms receive a complimentary one-time mini-bar service. Fair warning though, the cookies were a bit of a miss for us!

Since it was a cooler season, we brought quite a few clothes, and frankly, there weren't quite enough hangers for everything. On the bright side, they provide two sets of towels – one for your face and one for your body, which is a nice touch!

There wasn't a separate hand wash, but they provided bar soap – though it was incredibly slippery! On a much brighter note, the water pressure in the shower was absolutely fantastic! Usually, these straight showerheads can be a bit weak, but both the regular and rainfall showerheads here delivered a powerful, refreshing stream.

The toilet is conveniently located in its own separate space behind the vanity, offering a bit more privacy.

• Late Check-out: ~$16 per hour
• Swimming Pool: One entry per day, from 6:00 AM to 9:30 PM

Flipping through the hotel brochure near the TV, I realized our Boutique room was actually a step up! Good thing we got a deal, as the regular prices can be quite steep.

Room service is also available, with the following options:

• Breakfast (Korean or American style): ~$26 - served from 7:00 AM to 9:30 AM
• Lunch & Dinner (Western & Asian options): 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM, and 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM

Don't forget to pack your own toothbrush and toothpaste, as these are not provided.
