Dievole Wine Resort Tuscany Review 2026: An Unforgettable Stay
Experience the blissful Dievole Wine Resort in Tuscany, an unforgettable stay amidst vineyards. Discover booking tips, pool, and dining in this 2026 review.

I spent the happiest moments of my Tuscany trip
at the Dievole Wine Resort...❤️
From an introduction to the accommodation and the price I booked,
to the pool, breakfast, and dinner, I'll share all the details!
Booking, Price

I booked a Classic Double Room in mid-August
on Agoda for ~$394.
This price includes breakfast,
and prices can drop to the ~$292 range depending on the date,
so I recommend comparing prices across different platforms.

Honestly, booking accommodation in the ~$292 - ~$365 range isn't easy,
but I decided to go all out and book a truly amazing place for a relaxing getaway!
And it was absolutely wonderful.
Check-in, Parking
Check-in: 4:00 PM~ / Check-out: 11:00 AM

As you get closer to the resort, you'll find an unpaved road,
but the road itself wasn't dangerous or difficult to drive on.
To park, just look for the 'Parking' signs
within the resort and follow them in.

A short walk down from the parking lot brings you to the check-in area.
You don't even need to carry your luggage down yourself;
just hand over your car keys, and they'll bring your bags directly to your room.
After check-in, they introduce the resort facilities
and then escort you to your room.
Classic Double Room

The room I stayed in was the Classic Double Room.
Even though it's the most basic room, it was quite spacious,
had fantastic air conditioning, no bugs,
and was clean and comfortable.
During my Tuscany trip, I also stayed at an agriturismo,
which was wonderful, but the lack of air conditioning and presence of many bugs
made it a little uncomfortable, to be honest.

Since it was August, it wasn't super lush and green,
but the window view alone was enough to lift my spirits!

Complimentary water, a welcome card, towels to take to the pool,
and a telephone connecting you directly to reception were all provided.

Even though it's compact, there's a TV and a table,
and a coffee maker and a capsule coffee machine are also provided.

Inside the closet, you'll find a refrigerator and a minibar,
slippers, hangers, a hairdryer, and a safe.
Wine and snacks are available for purchase, but they're surprisingly affordable! 😉

The bathroom is decorated with beautiful white marble.
Robes, slippers, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, body lotion, and more –
most essential amenities are all thoughtfully provided.

Plus, they offer their very own, custom-made
shampoo, conditioner, and body wash!
The Pools

The pools at Dievole were what I was most excited about! ❤️
The resort actually has two outdoor pools,
and this one is the main attraction!
Including myself, there were only two Korean groups there,
and everyone else seemed to be international visitors.

From both inside the pool and lounging on the sunbeds,
you get fantastic views of the vineyards and cypress trees.
My only regret was that the weather was a little cloudy...
Even though it was incredibly hot when I visited,
most people weren't actually swimming.
Instead, many more were simply relaxing on the sunbeds.

This meant I could leisurely enjoy a dip in the pool,
then stretch out on a sunbed with a sandwich and
a coffee – pure bliss!

Besides the main pool, there's a secondary pool located right above our room.
It's smaller, which is probably why everyone flocks to the main one.
But if you prefer fewer crowds, the secondary pool is a great option too!
Dinner Delights

Both breakfast and dinner are served in the same delightful spot.
If the weather is nice, it seems everyone prefers to dine al fresco.
When you check in, they'll ask if you plan to have dinner.
You can settle the payment for everything all at once when you check out.

Dinner here showcases dishes centered around Tuscan regional ingredients,
with menus that evolve with the seasons.
You can also indulge in the wines and olive oils
produced right here at Dievole.
When it comes to prices, the course menu offers much better value than ordering à la carte.

I chose the course menu featuring wine pairings
with wines produced at Dievole.
The price was 173 Euros for two people,
and we began with some complimentary bread.

For the main dishes, we enjoyed:
Beef Tartare,
Button-shaped Pasta,
and Veal Cheeks.
These three delightful dishes were served.
While they were all incredibly fresh and tasty,
they didn't quite make me exclaim, "Wow, this is unbelievably delicious!"
Korean food still reigns supreme, though...

For dessert,
the Dark Chocolate & Salted Caramel Mousse
and the coffee were all perfectly sweet and truly delicious.
However, since the cuisine is distinctly local,
it didn't completely align with my personal taste.
Next time I stay here, I think I'll probably skip dinner
and bring some of my own provisions.
Breakfast

While you might consider skipping dinner,
breakfast is an absolute must-try!
It's a typical European spread with bread, ham, cheese, and cereal,
but the bread is seriously out of this world...
It was so good that I even went back for seconds and thirds!

You can order coffee separately from the staff,
and they'll bring you your preferred type,
whether it's an espresso, cappuccino, or something else entirely.

For my next adventure in Tuscany,
I'll most likely choose to stay at Dievole again for about two nights.
✔️Highly recommended for those seeking a pristine accommodation during their Tuscan travels.
✔️Perfect for couples looking for a romantic honeymoon or anniversary getaway.
