Hey fellow travelers!

If you love curated boutique finds, retro fashion, and unique accessories, there is one neighborhood in Chiang Mai you absolutely cannot miss: the Chang Moi vintage alley.

This charming little street brings together a collection of stores offering everything from vintage clothing, bags, and hats to quirky accessories and home decor. Since they are all located on the same block, it is incredibly easy to visit them all in one go.

Today, I am sharing my personal review of 4 fantastic vintage shops I visited during my trip.

Chang Moi Vintage Alley Location

The Chang Moi area is located just outside Chiang Mai's Old City, making it super easy to reach on foot or via a quick Grab ride.

It is surrounded by Chinatown, Warorot Market, and plenty of hip local cafes and restaurants, making it the perfect addition to your day's itinerary.

All the vintage shops featured below are clustered along Ratchawong Lane 3 Alley, so you can easily stroll from one storefront to the next.

Lucgygirl's House Of Vintage

This store immediately catches your eye with its colorful, retro exterior and playful, kitschy aesthetic.

Step inside, and you will find an eclectic mix of bags, hats, sunglasses, and delicate jewelry like rings, necklaces, earrings, and vintage watches. They also have a great selection of clothing and a convenient fitting room where you can try on your finds before buying.

Bonus tip: When I visited, they were offering a 5% discount if you left a quick Google Maps review!

Sgoontong Vintage Boutique

Located right next door to Lucgygirl's, this boutique offers a completely different vibe and product selection.

The shop is beautifully organized by category—shirts, t-shirts, and trousers are all neatly displayed, making it incredibly easy to browse. There is a fantastic selection of unisex pieces that appeal to everyone.

While some items are priced slightly higher than what you might find at local night markets, the curated designs and excellent quality make it well worth a visit.

I fell in love with a super cute Hello Kitty mirror keychain here, but since I rarely use hand mirrors, I decided to leave it behind. (Still thinking about it, though!)

Deen Dee Vintage Shop & OMG Team Shop

Just a few steps away, you will find Deen Dee Vintage Shop Chiang Mai and OMG Team Shop.

These two spots feature a more casual, gender-neutral, and streetwear-leaning aesthetic.

Because each shop along this street has its own distinct personality and curated style, I highly recommend taking your time to explore the entire alley rather than just popping into one.

Overall Review

The Chang Moi vintage alley is a fantastic shopping destination because of how close the shops are to each other, making for a seamless and fun walking route.

Unlike some thrift stores that can feel dusty or damp, these boutiques are clean, air-conditioned, and pleasant to browse. Plus, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful without being overbearing.
