Since I visit Ganghwa Island almost once a week,
I often find myself stopping by cafes.
And perhaps because it's Ganghwa Island, I've had the chance to visit quite a few ocean view cafes.
Honestly, it's not because this is a sponsored post,
but among all the ocean view cafes that offer truly beautiful sea views,
Cafe Tramonto still feels like the best.
So, for those of you who are truly looking for a fantastic ocean view, a sea that feels like a real sea,
I absolutely recommend Cafe Tramonto as your first choice!
It's also the perfect cafe to sit on the outdoor terrace, enjoy a cup of coffee,
and truly savor a moment of peace and relaxation.
Since Ganghwa Island is quite convenient to visit from Seoul (right?),
many people come here for trips with their kids, don't they?
For those traveling with children,
the reason I recommend Cafe Tramonto is this:
They have an outdoor sand playground just for kids!
What's more, it's an Australian sterile sand playground,
and they even have toys for the kids to play with.
Parents can relax at tables right next to it,
allowing you to truly enjoy your coffee worry-free.

Now that we've seen the outside, shouldn't we check out the inside?
The interior also features floor-to-ceiling windows, making it perfect for enjoying the sea view!
By the way, Cafe Tramonto has two floors.
Personally, I usually prefer enjoying views from a higher vantage point,
so I tend to favor the second floor whenever I visit.
However, Cafe Tramonto itself is located on high ground,
so you can genuinely enjoy the view even from the first floor.

Still, I love a good height, so I went up to the second floor again this time!
The first floor is beautiful too, but the second floor is definitely my favorite ❤️
My mom always loves to go out to the outdoor tables and look at the sea whenever she visits,
so I feel proud every time I bring her here.
My dad enjoys looking at the sea from inside ❤️
If you don't mind carrying your drinks up and down,
I definitely recommend the second floor.

Since we're at a cafe, we definitely have to review the drinks and desserts, right?!
Cafe Tramonto offers a wide variety of beverages like coffee, tea, and ades,
making it a great place to visit with friends who don't drink coffee, or with family.
They also have a surprising variety of delicious slice cakes,
and other options like ciabatta, croque monsieur, and croffles,
perfect for enjoying with a cup of coffee!
I ordered their signature coffee, the "Tramonto Latte,"
my dad's favorite from last time, the "Almond Cream Latte,"
my mom's sweet choice, the "Vanilla Shake,"
and the decadent, blueberry-filled
"Blueberry Cream Cheese Croffle."
Tramonto Latte
Personally, their Mocha Latte also looks beautiful and tastes delicious, so
I seriously debated between that and the Tramonto Latte, but for this review,
I thought it would be better to introduce their signature drink.
So, I ordered the Tramonto Latte.
The menu describes it as a rich espresso latte, so you might expect it to be bitter,
but it's surprisingly subtly sweet and really tasty!
That's why it suited my taste perfectly before,
and I decided to order it again this time – it's still just as delicious! Hahaha.
Almond Cream Latte
Last time we visited, my dad unexpectedly loved it,
so I ordered the Almond Cream Latte for him again.
Perhaps because it's been a while, the glass has changed!
The taller cup makes it feel like there's more volume (?), which I really liked!
If you love almonds, I highly recommend this coffee.
Vanilla Shake
This was my mom's choice.
Since it was a shake, I expected it to be plain,
but with ice cream on top, it was a gorgeously stunning drink!
Plus, the vanilla flavor was so rich.
I used to be someone who thought, 'Why order a shake when you're at a cafe?'
but next time I come to Cafe Tramonto, I'm definitely ordering this Vanilla Shake.
It was a drink that truly nailed both taste and presentation. ❤️
Blueberry Cream Cheese Croffle
The blueberry-loaded croffle is something I always end up ordering when I come here.
The croffle is warm,
and the blueberries are just perfectly sweet, making it delicious as always.
If you're debating between the original, Lotus, or Blueberry Cream Cheese options,
I highly recommend the Blueberry Cream Cheese Croffle!
Things to Enjoy at Cafe Tramonto
If you're visiting with children, the sand playground is definitely appealing,
but if you're like me and old enough to enjoy a foot bath (?),
I think I'd recommend Cafe Tramonto even more strongly.
That's because you can enjoy a foot bath
while taking in Ganghwado's best ocean view!
Especially every time I come here, I notice that
quite a few couples seem to be enjoying the foot baths.
While it costs ~$4 for a single person,
a couple's foot bath is ~$7,
which is great because the price for two becomes more affordable.
They also have special bath salts in Lavender, Rose, Orange, and Mint,
four types in total, so it's fun to choose!
If you love foot baths, I definitely recommend giving it a try! ✨️
Parking
For Ganghwado, it's generally more convenient
to come by private car rather than public transportation, right?
So, you might be worried about whether there will be enough parking space.
But Cafe Tramonto has Parking Lots 1 and 2,
which means you don't have to worry about finding a spot, and I really appreciated that.

Cafe Tramonto, perched overlooking the ocean on Ganghwado Island,
is truly a gem. It's the perfect spot to unwind, sip on a coffee,
and just soak in the breathtaking views of the real, authentic ocean.
So, if you're planning a weekend escape for a drive near Seoul, heading to Ganghwa,
I highly recommend making a stop at Cafe Tramonto!

Cafe Tramonto operates from 11 AM to 7 PM on Monday to Friday and Sunday. On Saturdays, it is open from 11 AM to 9 PM.
The foot bath costs ~$4 for single use, and a couple's foot bath is ~$7 for two people. You can choose from four types of dedicated salts: lavender, rose, orange, and mint.
Cafe Tramonto has an outdoor Australian sterile sand playground for children. Toys are also provided for children to play with, and parents can watch their children from tables right next to the playground.
