Tianjin, China, a popular choice for a Beijing day trip or a quick getaway (and nope, not Fukuoka's Tenjin)!
Flight tickets are usually cheaper than heading to Beijing, and the airport is super close to the city center, so this time, I chose Tianjin instead of Beijing.
For this trip from Incheon to Tianjin, China, I flew with
Asiana Airlines flight OZ327 (A321NEO).
It was a short-haul route, with a flight time of only about 2 hours!

I handled check-in using the self-check-in kiosk.
After printing my boarding pass, I dropped off my luggage myself at the self-bag drop counter, completing the process.

Boarding Gate | Boarding from the Far End
Asiana's boarding gate for Tianjin was located at the very end of the terminal.
Since there's a bit of a walk from check-in to the gate, make sure to give yourself plenty of time to get there!
The Trip.com app proactively sends boarding gate notifications,
so it was incredibly convenient to instantly see where I needed to go and head straight there.
Even in case of delays, I received immediate alerts!
Asiana OZ327 | Airbus A321NEO
The aircraft assigned to OZ327 was the Airbus A321neo.
It's the latest model, with improved fuel efficiency and reduced cabin noise compared to the previous A321.
Economy seating is in a 3-3 configuration.
I seem to get this aircraft model on all my recent trips,
while personally, I'm a bit sad there's no personal monitor,
the flight to Tianjin, China, is only a short 2-hour route anyway, so it's a smooth and quick ride.

It's served 30-45 minutes after takeoff,
and there was a single menu option.

The menu was simple, but the quality was quite good!
The seafood pieces were large, and there were scallops, making for a delicious and satisfying meal.
I played around with the little one sitting in front of me,
and before I knew it, it was time to land! Haha.
Getting closer to Tianjin city center in China!
It looked so green and vibrant, and the weather was lovely, which made me really excited.
Somehow, it feels a little different even from nearby Beijing~
Arrival at Tianjin Binhai Airport
After about a 2-hour flight, we arrived at Tianjin Binhai International Airport Terminal 1!
✅️ If you are entering China visa-free, you must complete an Arrival Card (pre-filling is available)
✅️ When taking Didi (滴滴) from the airport to the city center, it takes about 25~30 minutes.
