so make sure to read all the way to the end, okay? 😉
I'll share my honest review of Alley Guesthouse, which reopened after renovation in 2024 :)

📍 Alley Guesthouse
12 Gyerim-ro 106beon-gil, Gyeongju-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do
Location

It was great that Daereungwon, Hwanglidan-gil, and Cheomseongdae are all within walking distance!
What's more, right in front of the guesthouse,
there's a convenience store, Olive Young, and even Daiso,
so it was incredibly convenient to get anything I needed immediately.

The convenience store in front of the guesthouse even had cute puppies named Maru and Nuri,
which made it even better! ㅠㅠ
I went there every day during my stay....😂
The best...!!!
Exterior

The exterior immediately gives off a clean vibe.
I loved how tidy and well-kept it felt overall.

There's a cute resident cat in the 1st-floor lobby! 😻
Interior
Based on the twin room I stayed in,
Two single beds
Private bathroom
TV, refrigerator, air conditioner, hairdryer
It had everything you'd need.
What was particularly great was:
The bedding was clean and plush!
The overall room condition was spotless.
The soundproof door ensured excellent sound insulation.

The owner apparently invested over ~$730 for each soundproof door
to ensure quietness.
Thanks to that, it wasn't noisy at all and was wonderfully quiet!

It's so incredibly neat and tidy, isn't it?!

This place offered amazing value for money and was exceptionally well-maintained.
Plus, if you apply a coupon, it becomes even more affordable,
so I highly recommend booking quickly before rooms disappear!
Breakfast
I didn't have high expectations for breakfast,
but it was surprisingly good.
Toast, baked eggs, coffee, juice
This is the basic spread, but
it was absolutely perfect for a light meal before heading out in the morning.

The common areas were also spacious and pleasant.

Parking
While there isn't a dedicated parking lot within the guesthouse itself,
there are plenty of public parking lots nearby,
so it wasn't a major inconvenience at all~!

My Honest Review
If I sum it up honestly, this is it:

all the **conveniences and major attractions**
(like Hwanglidan-gil, Daereungwon, Cheomseongdae)

👉 Overall, it was in **spotless** condition, and the price was incredibly **affordable**
(around ~$29-~$36 per night for a twin room on weekdays).

"A Few Things to Note"
👉 There's no dedicated private parking, so you'll need to use public parking.
👉 You can't eat or drink in the rooms
(but you can in the communal area on the first floor).
But honestly, considering the price,
these were totally understandable points.
Perfect for Fellow Explorers Who
Having experienced it myself, I'd say
