During my self-planned trip to Athens, I found the perfect place to stay.
Not only is it located right in the heart of the city center,
but the moment I saw that stunning Acropolis view,
I completely fell in love and booked it instantly!

Exterior & Interior
The hotel is located in a bustling, lively street
packed with souvenir shops.
Since the hotel is located right above a jewelry shop (gold/silver smith),
that's how it got the name “24K Athena Suites”!
🔓 Self Check-in
On the day of your arrival, the host will text you the passcode for both the main entrance
and your room door!
They mentioned that the reception operates from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM,
but I actually couldn't find where it was! 😂
Stairs from Ground Floor > 1st Floor
Once you enter the main entrance passcode,
a pretty daunting flight of stairs greets you...
📌 The Elevator
Please note that it only runs between the 1st and 4th floors.
This means you have to carry your luggage up the stairs from the Ground Floor to the 1st Floor, and from the 4th Floor to the 5th Floor.
Definitely keep this in mind if you're traveling with heavy luggage...
We were a bit taken aback, but we managed to carry
our two super heavy suitcases up those stairs haha...
The room assigned to us was
“Room 51”
We were a bit confused because the elevator didn't have a button for the 5th floor,
and when we got off on the 4th floor, we saw the sign for Room 51. But...
Stairs from 4th Floor > 5th Floor
Once you unlock the door to Room 51,
⚠️ there is yet another staircase waiting for you to climb from the 4th to the 5th floor.
Yes, you have to haul your luggage up this staircase too...
Room Condition
After so many twists and turns getting up here,
a room with an absolutely mind-blowing view was waiting for us.
The room is seriously spacious, and a gorgeous terrace view
opens up through a massive window!!!!
You could easily lay out two huge suitcases and still have plenty of room.
(On the flip side, hauling those big suitcases up here is a major workout ㅠㅠ)
There was a **super spacious bed**
that felt at least like a California King!
And with a **cozy sofa** right there, it was
the perfect spot to just chill and soak in the views from inside.
They even have **capsule coffee**
and an **electric kettle** ready to go.
Talk about incredible value for money! 🥹
There were also **hangers** to easily hang up our jackets,
which was super convenient!
On one side, there was a **small kitchenette**,
making it super easy to whip up quick meals.
With European prices being quite high,
having a little kitchen like this is honestly a game-changer!
From **cutlery, plates, and various cups, to pans and pots**—
everything was so well-stocked that
cooking light meals was a total breeze!!!
The bathroom area felt so luxurious.
The shower was spacious, and the entire bathroom was huge.
Everything looked so pristine and barely used,
it made me wonder if they had recently remodeled!
The hairdryer worked perfectly, and they
even provided **slippers**!
The amenities were a luxurious olive set,
complete with **shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion, and soap**—
so convenient!
If you stay for multiple nights, they restock everything you need just like any hotel.

The **Acropolis view** from the room was just breathtaking.
Because of the high vantage point, we could
look down over the entire hill—it was absolutely stunning!
True to its room name, it felt like we had rented out an entire penthouse.
Those aren't trees on the left, those are all people...
While everyone else climbs the hill to watch the sunset,
The absolute best perk of sitting on the terrace
and sipping a cold beer!!!!
Morning is beautiful in its own way,
the pre-sunrise sky is stunning with its unique colors,
and when the moon rises, it has its own magical charm...
Even the night view was flawlessly beautiful...

No need to go to fancy rooftop bars when you can just buy wine from the market and enjoy this view!
After finishing my daytime sightseeing, I spent so much time just unwinding at the room.
Though the stairs were a bit of a shock at first...
the incredible perks completely made up for it!
