I plan to spend 2 nights in Macau and 2 nights in Zhuhai, China.
With visa-free entry to China available until December 31, 2026,
I'll enter Zhuhai, China from Macau on December 30, 2026,
and return to Macau on January 1, 2027!
Traveling between Macau and Zhuhai is possible by ferry in just about an hour!

In Zhuhai's Chimelong International Ocean Tourist Resort,

During my trip to Zhuhai Chimelong,
I plan to visit both Ocean Kingdom and Spaceship (Marine Science Museum),
so I'll be exploring these two fantastic spots~!
Based on location, Penguin Hotel offers the best accessibility,
and since I'm planning to visit both Ocean Kingdom and Spaceship,
I've chosen the Penguin Hotel for my stay~!!
Since it's year-end, I made sure to book quickly!

I usually compare prices across 3-4 different sites,
and for hotels in China, Trip.com truly is the best!!
Trip.com was about ~$69 cheaper,
so for anyone looking to book accommodation in Zhuhai,
I highly recommend Trip.com~!
Prices may vary depending on your stay dates and exchange rates,
but I don't think Trip.com being the cheapest will change.
3. Penguin Hotel Room Options
For 2 adults + 1 child,
with 3 people planning to stay,
I deliberated between a King bed vs. two twin beds!
Since the prices were the same,
I chose the option
that would allow our family of three to sleep comfortably~
The King bed is 2m wide.
The Twin beds are 1.3m * 2 wide.
After checking the room photos,
it looked like the twin beds could be pushed together,
so I opted for the twin beds~!
If you're visiting with children,
choose the twin beds to get a wider sleeping area~!
4. Ocean Kingdom / Spaceship Admission Tickets
Admission tickets for Ocean Kingdom and Spaceship
can be purchased on KLOOK & KKDAY,
but Klook is significantly cheaper~
Reviews mentioned that English isn't well understood on-site
and that there are large crowds of Chinese tourists,
so I plan to purchase my tickets in advance!

5. Package Deal or Individual Tickets?
While researching how to book the Penguin Hotel,
I discovered that Trip.com offers accommodation + admission ticket packages~!
There's a wide variety of package options:
some include only Spaceship,
some only Ocean Kingdom,
and others include both.
As I looked for the best option
and wondered which would be cheaper,
I crunched the numbers!
I'm planning to stay for 2 nights and
I'll be entering both Spaceship and Ocean Kingdom!
If you're only visiting one park,
either Spaceship or Ocean Kingdom, there's a 3-person package available,
but if you want to enter both, it's only possible for 2 people.
So, I'm planning to purchase a separate ticket for my child.
Let's crunch the numbers!

I already saved more than ~$28 just by booking the package,
but with the show ticket and Waterworld ticket included,
the real benefits are even bigger~!
On top of that, I also received a payment discount!
Trip.com offers payment benefits,
and if you pay with Naver Pay or Kakao Pay,
you get extra discounts.
Kakao Pay offered an instant discount of ~$6,
which was a better deal, so I got the ~$6 discount and
paid with Kakao Pay~!
Earning ~$4 in Trip Coins was an added bonus!
If you're planning a trip to Macau - Zhuhai,
definitely consider visiting Ocean Kingdom or Spaceship!
As it's the world's largest, I recommend staying for more than one night,
and when booking your hotel, choose a package deal
to get your tickets at a great price~!
