My Honest Review

Hey there, fellow travelers!

Even though we're well into September 2026, Osaka can still surprise you with its warmth and humidity. While I personally adore sunny days, Osaka has seen its share of cloudy weather recently, making a cool treat all the more appealing!

As someone who loves bright, sunny skies, the recent overcast days have been a bit of a bummer. Hopefully, any lingering stormy weather passes quickly!

Milk & Parfait Yotsuba White Cosy

There was one particular treat I absolutely craved when I was back home, and it's this very Yotsuba ice cream!

As someone who *loves* ice cream, it's wild to admit I barely touched any while in my home country...

(Though, admittedly, there were plenty of other delicious things vying for my attention!)

I'm usually an ice cream fiend in the summer, but I'm also quite picky – if it's not good, I simply won't eat it, you know?

In my opinion, Osaka has two standout ice cream spots.

And today, I'm introducing you to one of them!

Approximately a 1-minute walk from JR Osaka Station West Exit

You'll find it in the basement of the recently opened "KITTE Osaka," which debuted a couple of years ago in 2024.

On weekends, there can be a wait, so if possible, I recommend visiting on a weekday or during off-peak hours on the weekend!

Yotsuba

Yotsuba is actually a dairy and milk product company from Hokkaido.

They're so big and famous that you can find Yotsuba brand milk in supermarkets all across Japan.

So, if you visit Hokkaido, you'll easily find a wide variety of Yotsuba dairy products.

The White Cosy we're introducing today is Osaka's first permanent directly managed store in the Kansai region.

There are only three locations nationwide: Sapporo, Chitose Airport, and Osaka.

Venue and Atmosphere

Once you head down to the basement of KITTE, you'll find it right next to the main entrance, so it should be easy to spot.

The store layout is a bit unique, actually! Haha.

If you plan to dine in, the process is a bit different: you order first, and then a staff member will guide you to your seat.

Menu and Price

A special feature of White Cosy is that they also sell crepes.

I've never actually tried their crepes, but since their ice cream is so delicious, I always stick to that! 😋

Honestly, I live quite close, so I can go anytime I want.

But for tourists who might not visit often, I think it's a great idea to experience as much as you can while you're here!

Taste

I ordered the most basic option: the 'Soft Cream.'

It truly has a rich, decadent milky flavor.

Hokkaido is renowned for its dairy industry and delicious milk products, so an ice cream hailing from there is guaranteed to be exceptional, wouldn't you agree?!

Seriously... this is what I missed so much when I was back home! Haha.

No matter how much Baskin-Robbins or Haagen-Dazs I had, nothing could compare to this deep, creamy milk flavor.

Overall Review

Even though it's a Hokkaido product, if a trip to Hokkaido isn't in the cards, definitely give it a try while you're in Osaka!

Though, to be fair, if you *do* go to Hokkaido, there are so many other delicious things to try, you might not even get around to it! Haha!

With Osaka's often warm weather, it's the perfect spot to take a break from your sightseeing or shopping spree.

Since it's located inside the recently opened KITTE building, you can enjoy your ice cream and then easily continue your shopping!
