2. How to Book Discount Tickets

Because Osaka Castle is such a popular attraction,
even when I visited on a weekday during the off-season,
the ticket queue was still this long...!
While you can buy tickets on-site,
you might end up waiting for over 30 minutes during peak season.
Since purchasing your tickets in advance lets you skip the line and walk right in,
I highly recommend booking online beforehand,

3. Osaka Castle Visit Review
Osaka Castle is more than just a fortress—
it's the ultimate symbol of Osaka itself!
That's why it's always buzzing with so many tourists!

We took the metro and hopped off at Tanimachi 4-chrome Station,
and made our way to Osaka Castle!
Even from the entrance, we caught a sneak peek of the majestic Osaka Castle 🏯

And there it was—the iconic Osaka Castle right in front of us!
Osaka Castle Park is completely free to enter,
making it the perfect spot to snap some classic commemorative photos 📷
But to get a panoramic view of Osaka city,
you do need to pay an admission fee to enter the Main Tower (Tenshukaku).
(If you have the Osaka Amazing Pass, entry is completely free!)

Since we had the Osaka Amazing Pass,
we decided to head right inside the Main Tower!
If you bought your ticket online in advance,
or if you have the Osaka Amazing Pass, there's no need to wait—
you can just scan your QR code and walk right in!

The Osaka Castle Main Tower has 8 floors in total,
and you can take an elevator up to the 5th floor!

From the 5th to the 7th floors, there are exhibits on the Sengoku (Warring States) period
and the life of Toyotomi Hideyoshi!
There was so much to see on each floor, making it super interesting.
You can just explore floor by floor and make your way up the stairs.

After finishing up on the 7th floor,
we finally reached the absolute highlight—
the 8th-floor observation deck!

Behold the gorgeous 360-degree views of Osaka city
from this panoramic observation deck!
It's the most popular photo spot for travelers,
and it would look even more breathtaking on a perfectly clear day! 🧡

Just a heads-up, the 3rd and 4th floors display historical artifacts
and documents where photography is strictly prohibited.
There is also a shop selling official Osaka Castle merchandise
and souvenirs, so definitely check it out before you leave!

Even though it was only February, the cherry blossoms were already starting to pop up here and there!
Since Osaka Castle is famous as a cherry blossom hotspot,
it must be absolutely breathtaking if you visit during peak cherry blossom season! 🌸
