Yeosu 2026: La Terrasse Resort Infinity Pool & Local Dining
Embark on a spontaneous 3-day journey to Yeosu in 2026! Discover the luxurious La Terrasse Resort's infinity pool and indulge in the city's renowned local seafood.
Hello explorers!
Let's kick off a post about my 3-day, 2-night Yeosu trip with friends from back in February. It was a spur-of-the-moment trip, so we quickly booked the best available accommodations we could find, lol. Those turned out to be Yeosu La Terrasse Resort and Sono Calm Yeosu Hotel.

First meal in Yeosu!
Originally, we planned to go to Kkotdol Gejang 1 Beonga, but even the waiting list was closed, haha! So we headed to Hanilkwan, which was right next door. Hanilkwan is also a famous spot for Namdo (Southern) cuisine, so it was a great alternative! ^^

The seafood 'Han Jeongsik' course (a traditional Korean full-course meal) ~~~
So many diverse dishes came out!
It's perfect when you're craving a clean and satisfying meal.

🏝️ Yeosu La Terrasse Resort
La Terrasse boasts clean facilities, an infinity pool, and an indoor swimming pool ~

📍 La Terrasse Resort
29-12 Jinmo 1-gil, Dolsan-eup, Yeosu-si, Jeollanam-do

It's comprised of several different buildings.

First things first, check-in!

Here's a look inside our room.
There's a separate table area at the far end, which was perfect for hanging out.

Thanks to this space,
It adds a wonderful 'terrace vibe' to an otherwise standard hotel feel!

Anyway, we immediately headed to...
La Terrasse Water Park! 🌊

The kids' pool ~
It seemed like it wasn't open yet, probably because it was still a bit chilly back then.

There was also a Jacuzzi, but it wasn't in operation either!
I bet it's open now that the weather's gotten warmer.

It felt like being abroad, and I loved it.

The ocean, it's been too long! ^^

Outdoor pool, infinity pool! It was cold, but there were still lots of people. The water temperature was perfectly warm, so it was great for swimming.

Right by the ocean🌊🤍

I don't usually love the water, but I had so much fun, all thanks to Minijeoni~~~

After fully enjoying the infinity pool, it was time for the indoor pool!

Even at the pool, it's always beer for us! 🍺

We had too much fun in the water and were too exhausted to go back out of the resort~~~ So, delivery it was~~~ Our first night in Yeosu ended up being filled with chicken, tteokbokki, and beer, lol!

Day 2 of our 3-day, 2-night Yeosu trip!
We checked out and headed to Bada Gimbap, but… the wait was insane, so we had to book for an afternoon pickup ㅠㅠㅠㅠ

☕️ Cafe Oneureun in Yeosu
After failing to get Bada Gimbap, we grabbed drinks to-go from Cafe Oneureun, which was right next door, lol!

ONULUN, decorated very neatly and stylishly.

It feels like the perfect spot to relax while waiting for Bada Gimbap.

⛰️ Hyangiram Rest Stop
Our next destination!!!
Haha, we ended up at Hyangiram Shelter instead of Hyangiram Temple itself! A happy accident, maybe? 😉

Oh, we came to eat pajeon with this stunning sea view! Yay!~

Oh my goodness, this seafood pajeon...!
We devoured it, it was truly amazing! So, so good! 😂

And pairing it with Gat-kimchi? Pure genius!

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal with the Yeosu sea view, complete with acorn jelly and even seafood ramyeon! What a feast! ^^

🏖️ Sonokam Yeosu Hotel
For Day 2 of our Yeosu adventure, our stay was at Sonokam Yeosu!~

Open the curtains and boom! The mesmerizing Yeosu sea right before your eyes! 🌊🤍
Ocean view dreams come true!

Definitely a great choice!!!

We pre-ordered and picked up some delicious Bada Gimbap~
The Gat Tuna Gimbap was supreme! Seriously, if I go to Yeosu again, I'm eating this! ❤️

The Yeosu sea embracing the sunset.

Captured such a breathtakingly beautiful moment.

I wanted to soak in more of this beauty, but our dinner reservation was calling!

And just like that, it was morning once more,
And just like that, it's the morning of Day 3 of our amazing 2-night, 3-day adventure in Yeosu!

After soaking in the sparkling sea views for just a moment, it was straight to breakfast! We totally overslept and were super late, haha!

Let the breakfast feast at Sono Calm Yeosu commence!

With its incredible floor-to-ceiling windows,
the restaurant offers a stunning ambiance to savor your meal.

Cereal, Waffles, and Toast

Hash Browns, Sausages, and Breads

Refreshing drinks, juices, and an array of light, delightful salads.

My first plate~
A glorious spread of fried eggs, crispy bacon, savory sausages, golden hash browns, fluffy omelet, and warm toast!

And of course, it wouldn't be complete without some delicious Korean food!
We had seaweed soup, rice, Nabak Kimchi (radish water kimchi), Gat Kimchi (mustard leaf kimchi), and savory Bulgogi.

There were also some simple Korean dishes, comforting pasta, and aromatic pho.

And for a sweet finish, a delightful selection of fresh fruits and tempting desserts.

I ended my feast on a light note with some pho, fresh fruit, and creamy yogurt! 🤍

After checking out, we were off to ride the Yeosu Ocean Rail Bike! Ha!
It's pretty hilarious that all three of us went for it…

It felt like I was traveling with my parents, lollllllll

Pedaling hard on the rail bike and soaking in the ocean views!

Racing above the sea -

As we crossed over the ocean like this~~~

And then tunnels appear too, lolllllllll
It was almost half ocean, half tunnel;;;;

I truly got to see Yeosu properly! ^^
Seriously, it was a workout in itself~~~

On the way, we also stopped by the beach for some fun paragliding spectating!

Yeosu Kkotdol Ganjang Gejang No. 1, which we failed to visit on the first day!
Our last meal in Yeosu was finished off with some delicious Gejang~~~

Yangnyeom Gejang (spicy marinated crab) was also served,
But the Ganjang Gejang (soy-marinated crab) was truly delicious!!!

It was big and substantial, making for a very satisfying lunch! lolllll.
My 2-night, 3-day Yeosu trip with Minnyeoni 🏝️🏖️🤍
Compared to our trip to Jeju, this one was more spontaneous and unplanned, but it was still such a wonderfully fun time! lolllllll.
May our travel fund accumulate quickly again~~~
Let's go on another adventure, friends! Thanks so much!!!!!!!
Frequently Asked Questions
What was the operational status of the water park facilities at Yeosu La Terrace Resort during a visit in February?
During the visit in February, the kids' pool and jacuzzis at La Terrace Resort were not in operation. However, the outdoor infinity pool and indoor swimming pool were open, and the water temperature of the infinity pool was comfortably warm, making it pleasant for swimming.
What kind of menu could be enjoyed at Hanilkwan, which was visited for the first meal during the Yeosu trip?
We visited Hanilkwan because the waiting list for Kkottolgejang 1st Street, where we originally planned to go, was full. Here, we enjoyed a seafood Hanjeongsik (Korean set meal) course, featuring a variety of clean and delicious dishes.
You mentioned trying Bada Gimbap during your second day in Yeosu. What was the purchasing process like at that time?
Bada Gimbap had a very long wait, making it difficult to purchase on the spot. I made a reservation for afternoon pickup after waiting and was able to enjoy the 'Gat Tuna Gimbap'.
What was the atmosphere like at Sonokam Yeosu Hotel's breakfast restaurant, and what were the main menu items?
The breakfast restaurant had large windows, creating an atmosphere where you could enjoy your meal while admiring the sea view. Both Western dishes like cereal, waffles, toast, and hash browns, as well as Korean dishes such as seaweed soup (miyeokguk), rice, gat-kimchi, and bulgogi, were offered.
What kind of course is the Yeosu Ocean Rail Bike composed of, and what kind of experience could be had?
The rail bike course was almost equally divided between sections running over the sea and sections passing through tunnels. It was an activity where you could fully enjoy the scenery of Yeosu, moving back and forth between the sea and the tunnels.
