Yeosu Cable Car Ticket Prices 2026: Hours & Discounts
Planning a trip to Yeosu? Get ready for breathtaking coastal views from the Yeosu Maritime Cable Car! Find out where to board, operating hours, and how to get discounts.

The Yeosu Maritime Cable Car has boarding locations at
Dolsan (Nora) Station and Jasan (Haeya) Station.
These are the two spots.
Both locations allow you to buy tickets and board, so
you can choose the one that's most convenient for your travel itinerary.

Having used it myself this time, I found that
it was helpful to know not just where to board,
but also the Yeosu Cable Car's operating hours and fares,
and how to use online tickets in advance.

If you purchase tickets in advance,
you can get up to an 11% discount, but
they cannot be used on the day of purchase.
If your travel date is set,
it's best to prepare by purchasing them at least the day before.
Yeosu Cable Car Hours and Discounts

As of September 2026,
the Yeosu Cable Car operates
daily from 9:30 AM to 9:30 PM.

However, operating hours may change
depending on weather conditions or maintenance schedules.
If you plan to visit late in the evening,
it's a good idea to double-check the daily operating status.
Category | Adult | Child |
Standard Round Trip | ~$12 | ~$9 |
Standard One Way | ~$10 | ~$7 |
Crystal Round Trip | ~$18 | ~$14 |
Crystal One Way | ~$14 | ~$10 |
++ Standard cabins can accommodate 8 people,
while crystal cabins, with their transparent floors,
can seat up to 6 people.

When choosing your cabin type,
there's a price difference between standard and crystal cabins, so
consider if you want to simply enjoy the ocean views comfortably,
or if you're looking for a unique experience with the sea visible right under your feet.
You can choose according to your preference.

Yeosu Maritime Cable Car Boarding Locations
Which One is More Convenient?

The Yeosu Maritime Cable Car has boarding locations at
Dolsan (Nora) Station and Jasan (Haeya) Station.
These are the two spots.
Both locations allow you to buy tickets and board, so
you can choose the one that's closest to your accommodation or fits best with your itinerary before or after the cable car.
Category | Dolsan (Nora) Station | Jasan (Haeya) Station |
Location | Within Dolsan Park | Near Odongdo Island entrance |
Address | 3600-1 Dolsan-ro, Dolsan-eup, Yeosu-si, Jeollanam-do | 116 Odongdo-ro, Yeosu-si, Jeollanam-do |
Ticketing/Boarding | Available | Available |
Itinerary Tip | Combine with Dolsan Park itinerary | Combine with Odongdo Island itinerary |

We used the Odongdo Public Parking Tower. Having actually traveled around, I realized that between the two stations,
it's not necessarily that one is definitively more convenient than the other,
but rather which attractions you plan to visit before or after the cable car that matters most.

Since both stations are accessible,
there's no single 'right' answer as to which one to choose.
It's best to align your choice with your day's travel itinerary.

Especially if you're planning to ride in the evening,
consider the distance you'll need to walk after parking,
and arriving a bit earlier will ensure a more relaxed experience.
Dolosan or Jasan:
Which station is best?
If you're also exploring Odongdo Island,
check out Jasan (Hae Ya) Station first. If you're combining your trip with Dolsan Park, then Dolsan (Nora) Station is your go-to.
Since both stations offer ticket sales and boarding, rather than deciding which one is 'better',
it's more convenient to choose the station that's closest to your overall itinerary
as your starting point.

If your itinerary includes Odongdo Island, like mine,
Jasan Station will feel more natural.
If you plan to continue your dining or sightseeing on Dolsan Island,
then Dolsan Station is easier for onward travel.

How to Get Online Tickets
Tickets purchased online in advance
can be redeemed at either Dolsan or Jasan Station,
then you can board there.
After checking the waiting number displayed on your boarding pass
on the electronic signboard,
proceed to the general or crystal cabin queue
and board as instructed.

Online tickets
cannot be used on the same day of purchase;
they are valid from the following day.
It's better to plan ahead and purchase them by the day before your trip,
rather than buying them hastily on the same day.
Yeosu Cable Car Discounts:
How to Get Up to 11% Off
If you're looking for discounts on the Yeosu Cable Car,
compare online prices before arriving at the station and purchasing your ticket there.

The advance purchase deals I found
offer up to an 11% discount.
However, there's one important condition to remember.
You can't use the ticket on the same day you purchase it;
it's valid from the day after purchase.

So, rather than trying to find tickets after you've already arrived,
it's better to arrange them in advance
once your travel dates are set.
The actual ticket price will vary
depending on the type you choose,
so be sure to double-check the final payment amount.
🎫 If your travel dates are set,
make sure to prepare in advance!

it's a good idea to secure your tickets in advance.

So, what was the night view like from the cable car?

What I was most excited about for the Yeosu Maritime Cable Car
was definitely the night sea view.

Going up after sunset,
the lights from the city and the sea twinkled together.
It created an atmosphere completely different
from the daytime scenery I'd seen.

Being able to slowly gaze at the night view from inside the cabin,
it felt less like a simple means of transport
and more like enjoying a whole evening activity.

Especially if the night view is your main goal,
don't just check the Yeosu Cable Car operating hours –
make sure to look up the sunset time for the day of your visit too.

If you head out a bit earlier, you can enjoy the sunset views,
and then encounter the illuminated night sea on your return journey.
It's a great way to time your visit!

If you're wondering what to do at night,
this was definitely a course I'd recommend
adding to your itinerary again!
What's the Best Time to Ride for the Night View?

If it were me, I'd aim to ride around sunset.

While the night view after it's completely dark is beautiful,
if you want to see the lights gradually come on as the sun sets,
it's better to head out a bit early.

Currently, the Yeosu Cable Car operates until 9:30 PM,
but on weekends or days with many tourists,
you'll need to factor in time for travel and ticketing.

Operating hours can also change due to weather or maintenance,
so it's always best to do a final check of the official announcements
on the day of your visit.
Just These Things to Check Before You Go!

For the Yeosu Marine Cable Car,
you can choose between a standard or crystal cabin,
and one-way and round-trip tickets also have different prices.

Once you've decided which type of cabin to ride,
it'll be much smoother if you also check the sunset time
and the day's operating status before you go.

🎫 If you haven't bought your ticket yet, read on!

Check online prices until the day before your trip.
You can get up to an 11% discount on Yeosu Cable Car tickets through these deals,
so it's definitely worth comparing before buying at the ticket office.
Since tickets are usable from the day after purchase,
it's important to grab them in advance
rather than waiting to buy on the day of your trip.
