My parents, my younger sister, and I – the four of us
recently went on a 2-day, 1-night family trip
to Yeosu and Suncheon.
Since it was an incredibly hot time of year,
right from the start when choosing accommodation,
a hotel with a pool was
our top priority.
I figured that only a good splash in the water
would help us beat
the heat.
As I searched for a hotel with a pool
in Yeosu,
the Yeosu Haven Hotel's pool naturally
came to mind first.
I had stayed here once before
when I visited Yeosu previously,
and my satisfaction then was so high
that I didn't hesitate to choose it again
this time.
Reasons for Re-visiting Yeosu Haven Hotel
My reasons for choosing the Yeosu Haven Hotel pool
again were actually quite clear.
It boasts great views, an infinity pool,
and you can enjoy the swimming facilities,
all while being reasonably priced.
When I checked again this time,
those conditions were still perfectly met,
and if anything, I felt even more confident,
so I booked it right away.
Haven Hotel is located
in Dolsan-eup, Yeosu-si, Jeollanam-do.
It's situated across Dolsan Bridge from the city center,
which gives it a wonderfully quiet and tranquil atmosphere.

In return, from the rooms and the pool,
you can enjoy stunning night views of the Geobukseon Bridge and the Marine Cable Car.
This place definitely guarantees amazing views.
My Choice After Comparing Yeosu Hotels with Pools
If you search for hotels with pools in Yeosu,
many places with infinity pools will pop up, such as O&F Hotel, U-Top Marina Hotel, and others.
Most places offer ocean views and pools, which can make it hard to choose.
But we picked Haven Hotel again because of its location and great value for money.
While many infinity pool hotels in downtown Yeosu offer convenient locations,
they often come with a hefty price tag or smaller pools.
Haven Hotel, on the Dolsan Island side, offers a more relaxed atmosphere
and reasonable prices.
Plus, it boasts a full range of amenities, including an infinity pool, fitness center,
convenience store, and cafe!
As a family of four, the cost was definitely a factor we couldn't ignore,
but with all these benefits, it was a perfectly reasonable choice.
Before booking, I compared prices across several reservation sites,
and booking here was the cheapest!

Yeosu Haven Hotel Pool Ondol Room Prices and Information
Haven Hotel rooms are divided into Ondol rooms and Western-style bed rooms.
If your family, like ours, is traveling with parents,
an Ondol room is much more comfortable.
They're categorized into detailed options like Bridge Ondol Ocean,
Premium Ondol Half Ocean, and Family Ondol Mountain,
so you can choose according to your group size and budget.
Check-in is at 3 PM,
and check-out is at 11 AM.
Breakfast isn't included in the room rate and must be selected as a separate package.
So, if you want to enjoy breakfast at Yeosu Haven Hotel, it's a good idea to confirm it during the booking process.
We actually opted not to have breakfast there!
Also, it's good to note that toothbrushes and toothpaste are not provided,
and all rooms are non-smoking.
My Honest Experience with the Ondol Room
Around 4 PM,
we checked in, unpacked,
and headed straight to the pool.
We started swimming
just as the sun began to set,
and seeing the lights on the Yeosu bridge
turn on one by one while swimming
felt truly special and unique.
The bridge lights reflected beautifully
on the water,
making for stunning photos.
They came out so pretty!
Even my parents, who had never seen such a view,
kept exclaiming in awe.
My sister and I were busy
snapping pictures.
Apparently, you can only enter the infinity pool once a day
after checking in at the 2nd-floor entrance.
We enjoyed it all in one go in the late afternoon,
so it wasn't a big deal for us.
However, it's a good idea to keep this in mind
if you're planning your visit.
After swimming, we showered in our room
and got ready for dinner.
The amenities provided are
shampoo, conditioner, body wash,
and body lotion as standard!
After swimming and showering, we were too tired
to go out for dinner,
so we ordered delivery!
Since it was a family trip, choosing the Ondol room
was great because we had plenty of space!
