A Rainy Day, Yeosu Cable Car Review
I departed from Sono Calm Hotel and headed to the nearest
Jasan Boarding Point.
It's not that the boarding building appears immediately;
you take an elevator up to the 11th-floor observatory
and cross a bridge to reach the cable car boarding building.
The view was incredibly beautiful, and it was cherry blossom season,
so I spent a while taking photos on the 11th floor before crossing over.
To ride the cable car, you cross the skybridge
and take the elevator in the cable car building down to the 1st-floor ticket office, or
if you've already purchased your tickets online,
you can go directly to the 2nd-floor boarding area!!
My mom and I made a last-minute decision to ride the cable car,
so I couldn't book online and bought tickets on-site.
Even if you book online on the same day, you can still board, so,
Make sure to grab a discount by booking online before you hop on board!
Luckily, there was a self-service ticket machine, so I snagged my tickets super fast!!
The types of tickets you can buy on-site are actually
all available at awesome discounted prices through the link I shared,
so you can simply pick the ticket that suits your adventure!
I pondered between the Regular Cabin and the Crystal Cabin,
but since I visited on a rainy day, I decided to go with the Regular Cabin.
The boarding areas for both Crystal and Regular Cabins are conveniently located on the same floor,
just divided into different sections.
And finally, it was time to hop on the cable car!
To be honest, I felt like there weren't a ton of things to do in Yeosu on a rainy day,
so I suggested to my mom, 'Hey, maybe we should just try out the cable car?!'
So, the Yeosu Cable Car on a rainy day... my verdict is...!!!
Even though the rain made it a bit tricky to capture the perfect shots,
in person, it was absolutely wonderful to gaze down at Yeosu spread out before us.
The rain even added a charming, atmospheric touch.

I totally, totally recommend it!
Especially if you manage to visit during cherry blossom season or autumn foliage season,
the scenery is absolutely breathtaking.
Many people also hop on in the evenings to catch the stunning sunset or Yeosu's mesmerizing night view.
Next time, I definitely want to come back to experience the night view myself!
You can even spot Odongdo Island laid out before your eyes!
Just a heads-up: neither the Crystal Cabin nor the Regular Cabin actually has air conditioning.
So, if you can, it's probably best to ride before the peak of summer to truly enjoy it.

Whether you choose a Regular Cabin or a Crystal Cabin, it doesn't matter –
you can actually connect via Bluetooth!
When I visited, the weather was cloudy, so playing some calm music
made the experience absolutely perfect, even with the rain, without a single regret.
For those of you adventuring with your significant other,
I think it would be absolutely magical to play 'Yeosu Night Sea' (a famous song!) and soak in the night view together~
Since this is such a must-do experience for any Yeosu trip, it can get crowded,
which means wait times can get pretty long.
So, I highly recommend booking online in advance to snag a discount
and also save time in your travel itinerary~
It would be such a shame to pay full price on the spot, wouldn't it!

Neither the standard cabin nor the crystal cabin has air conditioning. However, Bluetooth connectivity is available inside the cabin, allowing you to listen to your preferred music.
