When the weather gets chilly, doesn't a warm hot spring sound inviting?

Then how about the **The N Resort Yangyang Garden On Spa (양양 더앤리조트 가든온 스파)**?

For my winter hot spring trip, I visited The N Resort Spa and enjoyed everything from the **hot spring swimming pool, Garden Hot Spring Spa, and cypress dry sauna**, a truly fulfilling experience that warmed me right up.

I'll be meticulously organizing all the details about The N Resort Spa's operating hours, prices, precautions, and even what to prepare!

01. Basic Information about The N Resort Yangyang Spa (양양 더앤리조트 스파)

The N Resort is a 4-star hot spring resort nestled in the forest at the foothills of Gyeonghak Mountain (구학산) in Yangyang.

They use **natural hot spring water, with over 1,000 tons gushing up from approximately 823m underground** daily. And because hot spring water is supplied to the bathrooms in all guest rooms, you can even enjoy a hot spring bath right in your room!

The hot spring facilities are largely divided into **Spa On (스파온) and Garden On**.

Spa On is an **indoor hot spring sauna**, while Garden On is an **outdoor leisure facility spanning 1,200 pyeong** (approx. 43,000 sq ft), consisting of a hot spring swimming pool and the Garden Hot Spring Spa.

02. Usage Fees

If you only plan to use the indoor hot spring (Spa On), the **standard price is ₩44,000 (~$33), and for guests, it's ₩22,000 (~$16)**.

Residents of Gangwon Province can use it for ₩14,000 (~$10).

For Garden On, guests receive an additional discount starting from November.

From Sunday to Friday, the standard price of ₩110,000 (~$82) is discounted to **₩35,000 (~$26) for guests**. However, on **Saturdays, the guest discount price is ₩55,000 (~$41)**.

I also looked for additional discount methods for Spa On and Garden On, but unfortunately, the guest discount was all there was ㅠㅠ

So, the best strategy is to find the cheapest room possible, right?

That's why I compared room rates across different platforms.

When I checked for the lowest price for a Deluxe Double room today, **I found Agoda to be the cheapest!**

03. The AN Resort Spa Review

I visited almost at the last hour in the evening,

and since it's an outdoor hot spring, when moving from one bath to another,

honestly, it was so incredibly cold that my teeth chattered.

However, the distance between the baths wasn't far.

Plus, they provided body towels to cover up with, which made it manageable,

and once I dipped into the warm water, it was perfectly fine.

The hot spring swimming area consists of an infinity pool, a kids' pool,

and a temperature-maintaining hot spring pool.

However, the swimming pool is closed during the winter season.

Please be sure to check the official website for detailed operating periods!

There's also a large screen right in front,

so you can relax in the warm hot spring water

while enjoying music content and videos.

How should I put it, it had a surprisingly glamorous lighting and a hip atmosphere,

making it a unique outdoor hot spring.

There were more families with young children and families with elderly parents than I expected,

so you don't have to worry, thinking 'Is this only for young people?'

The Garden Hot Spring Spa is a spa with a wonderful ambiance where you can enjoy an open-air bath in a garden.

It consists of a total of 5 themed baths.

The hot spring water comes in various colors like red, blue, and lavender,

and being able to enjoy the hot spring while looking out at the forest

made me feel like both my body and mind were clearing.

The highlight here is the Flame Fountain Bath (불꽃분수탕).

As Korea's first open-air bath where flames and hot spring water erupt together,

the flame show happens twice a day on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM,

and each show lasts about 11 minutes.

I couldn't catch the show because I didn't time it right,

but if you're a family with young children,

I think showing them the flame show at this time

would create a wonderful memory for the kids!

There's also a Cypress Dry Sauna (편백 건식 사우나).

It's a spa facility where you can warm your body in a dry sauna with a deep cypress scent,

and I think it can accommodate up to 6 people at a time.

Since both children and parents can enjoy it according to their preferences,

I think it's a great hot spring for families to make memories.

Playing in the warm water made me forget the cold,

and the facilities were so diverse that I had fun throughout the hot spring experience!

04. Precautions and What to Bring When Using the Garden Onsen (가든온)

When using The AN Resort's spa facilities,

let's go over the precautions and what you should bring.

First, swimsuits and footwear (slippers/sandals/aqua shoes, etc.)

are mandatory, and entry will be restricted if not worn.

Especially for the infinity pool, a swimming cap or baseball cap is required.

Furthermore, room slippers and robes are not permitted inside Garden On (가든온),

and outside food is also not allowed.

(Prescription food/baby food is allowed after staff confirmation)

Most importantly, when you exit Garden On, your admission ticket

will be processed as used, making re-entry impossible.

If you need to leave and re-enter, please inquire at the reception desk.
