Planning a trip to Yangyang (양양) and looking for accommodation?

My boyfriend and I were also planning a trip to Yangyang

and we found Centum Mark Hotel Yangyang, which was new and reasonably priced.

We went ahead and booked it!

If you pick the wrong accommodation,

it can really sour your entire trip.

Luckily, my stay at Centum Mark Hotel was a success,

and I'm excited to share my review!

Why I Booked Centum Mark Hotel Yangyang

I was looking for accommodation that was conveniently located for a trip to Yangyang

and was also a newly built property.

Centum Mark Hotel Yangyang perfectly fit those criteria.

The rooms are in a residence style, similar to an officetel (오피스텔),

meaning it was recently built,

and the facilities are quite clean.

Rather than staying for a long "hocance" (호캉스) to fully enjoy all the amenities,

it was a perfect fit for travelers who plan to do a lot of sightseeing outside

and just want a comfortable place to rest and sleep for the night!

Prices tend to fluctuate depending on the platform and date,

so right before booking,

I compared prices across Yanolja (야놀자), Yeogi Eottae, and Agoda.

Centummark Hotel Yangyang (센텀마크호텔양양) Basic Information

The address is 9 Hangogae-gil (한고개길), Yangyang-eup (양양읍), Yangyang-gun (양양군), Gangwon Province (강원 양양군 양양읍 한고개길 9).

Check-in is at 3 PM, and check-out is at 11 AM the next day,

Early check-in/late check-out

incurs an additional fee.

Both check-in and check-out

are done via machines in the lobby,

operating as a self-service system.

Parking is free and self-service within the facility,

but during peak season evenings,

the outdoor parking lot behind the building might fill up quickly,

so it's good to keep that in mind if you plan to arrive late.

When we visited,

there was plenty of parking, which was convenient!

On the first floor, a GS25 convenience store (GS25 편의점) operates 24 hours, and

this feature was incredibly convenient!

We could purchase necessary items

and easily grab drinks or snacks for a late-night bite!

Inside the room, there's a microwave and an electric kettle,

and there was also an induction stovetop,

but for safety reasons, the induction stovetop cannot be used.

An Honest Review of My Stay at Centummark Hotel Yangyang

Perhaps because it's a new building, as soon as I entered,

it felt incredibly clean and tidy throughout.

The self-service check-in/check-out process using the machines in the lobby was unique, and it felt a bit unfamiliar at first,

but it was actually more convenient because it was fast and contactless.

It's a residence-style hotel,

with a structure similar to an officetel (studio apartment),

but due to safety concerns, the induction stovetop couldn't be used.

The room size wasn't exceptionally large,

but for my boyfriend and me,

It was the perfect size for a one-night stay.

However, the table was a bit small,

so it was a little inconvenient when we brought back king crab to eat.

Also, there was some dust accumulated on the window,

making the outside view look a bit hazy,

which was a slight disappointment.

Still, when I woke up the next morning,

I was greeted by a view of Seoraksan (설악산) way off in the distance!

LOL

Having a microwave and electric kettle in the room,

was really convenient for warming up takeout food.

And having a convenience store on the first floor

meant I could grab anything I needed

without having to go far, which was fantastic.

For a hotel booked last minute,

the value for money was excellent,

so I was very satisfied!

Reasons why Centummark Hotel Yangyang (센텀마크호텔양양) is a great addition to your Yangyang (양양) hotel recommendation list

If your goal is a longer stay, like a 'hocance' (hotel vacation),

another accommodation might be a better fit,

but if you're traveling in Gangwon-do (강원도) and focusing on sightseeing,

spending your days exploring outside and returning to your accommodation around evening,

looking for a comfortable place to stay for just one night,

Centummark Hotel Yangyang is a great value-for-money choice!

Its location isn't bad,

and the price is quite affordable,

so Yangyang Centummark Hotel

was a great choice for my Yangyang trip.
