a spot I stumbled upon during my last Taiwan trip

while wondering what to do at Taoyuan Airport

before my flight!

One of the absolute best parts of my trip to Taipei, Taiwan was

discovering the charm of milk tea, something I hadn't quite appreciated

on my previous Taipei visit-!

Naturally, I wanted to savor milk tea one last time before departing.

Coincidentally, I had just bought some Kavalan liquor in the duty-free zone,

and had some time before my flight.

As I was strolling around the duty-free area,

I spotted Wing Cafe, which seemed quite popular,

and lo and behold, on the tea menu,

there was milk tea?!

So, I immediately decided to give the cafe a try-!

Just a heads-up, drink sizes were

available in Medium and Large-!

While waiting for my milk tea, I took a look around Wing Cafe.

They sold sodas like Coca-Cola, and even alcohol.

Looking back, I think those who chose a soda or alcohol

were probably the real winners...🤣

There were other desserts too,

but strangely, none of them caught my eye.

I was completely head over heels ❤️ for milk tea at that point,

so I only ordered milk tea.

It was probably Ceylon Milk Tea, I think?

It was 120 NTD, costing over ~$4...

The visual... hmm...

Just a plain cup, which was a little disappointing, but

who cares about the cup when it comes to milk tea?

It's the taste that matters‼️‼️‼️

And then...

it turned out the taste betrayed me too... lol

My unbelievably happy Taiwan trip...

Right before departing Taiwan...

Drinking this bland brown liquid felt so

unfair and disappointing...

So, I decided to at least get some nice photos.

Pop it into the cup holder

snapping a 'life shot' of my milk tea...

and calming my soul.

Now I understand why everyone else was having Americanos...

Just so you know, I think sugar, syrup, cup holders, and more were at the self-service station?

Since there's a separate spot to grab them...

you just help yourself.

I almost thought they didn't have any cup holders!​

It was pretty cool they had Tabasco!❤️

There's also a place to put Taiwanese lottery receipts,

so it might be good for those who want to try their luck to drop them in.

I heard that if your receipt wins, the prize money is donated to charity.
