Many of you are probably planning a solo trip to vibrant Osaka, Japan, aren't you?

Osaka is easy to navigate and generally very safe, making it a popular choice for solo female travelers.

Today, for all you solo explorers heading to Osaka, I'm excited to introduce Wellina Hotel, a fantastic value-for-money stay in Dotonbori!

Osaka Accommodation Recommended for Solo Female Travelers

When you're embarking on a solo trip, especially as a woman, choosing the right accommodation can definitely be a big decision.

During my recent solo adventure in Osaka, I weighed several factors before deciding. After much consideration, I booked 'Wellina Hotel Dotonbori'.

To start, Wellina Hotel boasts excellent accessibility from Kansai Airport.

If you take the Rapi:t train, you can reach the hotel in about a 10-minute walk from Nankai Namba Station.

What's more, I used the innn pick-up and drop-off service with my Kansai Joy Pass, which meant I could get to the hotel in just 2-3 minutes on foot – it was incredibly convenient!

Next, as you can see on the map above, Wellina Hotel is centrally located amidst various tourist attractions, offering superb access to all your destinations.

Dotonbori is just a 5-minute walk away, making it super convenient for exploring Dotonbori, taking a river cruise, and shopping at Don Quijote.

Plus, popular spots like Umeda, Osaka Castle, Shinsekai, and the Harukas 300 Observatory are all reachable within about 30 minutes by subway, which was perfect for planning my itinerary!

And best of all, the closest Kintetsu-Nippombashi Subway Station is just a 2-minute walk away, making getting around incredibly easy.

What's more, for a woman traveling solo,

safety is an absolute must, isn't it?

First off, since it's located near Dotonbori,

there are always plenty of people around, even late at night,

making the area feel quite safe!

Finally, when you're traveling solo, the price is

super important, right?

Wellina Hotel checks all those boxes and still offers

While prices can vary depending on the season, you can usually

book a room for one person on weekdays for around

Wellina Hotel Dotonbori Stay Review

Check-in

Here are the check-in and check-out times for Wellina Hotel:

Check-in: 3 PM, Check-out: 10 AM

I arrived before check-in time, so I dropped off my luggage

and then checked in right at 3 PM.

The staff spoke English, which made the check-in process

incredibly smooth and easy!

On the first floor, the lobby has comfortable sofas for relaxing,

a breakfast dining area, a drink vending machine, a washing machine, and public restrooms.

Having a drink vending machine right inside the hotel was particularly convenient,

especially for late-night cravings!

Standard Twin Room

I booked a Standard Twin Room for one person

and was assigned room 407.

To use the elevator, you need to tap your room key, which means outsiders can't enter,

making it feel very secure for a solo traveler.

Even though I booked for one person, they gave me a room with two single beds, which was great because I had plenty of space to spread out.

Plus, for accommodation in Osaka, it was quite spacious, so I had no problem opening my suitcase and settling in!

What's more, the bed was incredibly comfortable, allowing me to get a fantastic night's sleep and completely recharge!

Summer in Osaka is known for being hot, but the air conditioning worked perfectly, making it wonderfully comfortable to sleep.

Inside the room, you'll find two single beds, a desk, a full-length mirror, a bathroom, and a wall hanger.

Having a full-length mirror near the entrance to check my OOTD (Outfit Of The Day) was really convenient.

And having a separate table and chair was super handy for enjoying late-night snacks or doing my makeup.

Amenities included two bottles of mineral water, a mug, a coffee pot, and a hairdryer. It's especially nice because, these days, fewer hotels provide complimentary bottled water, so having it here was a real bonus!

Between the beds, you'll also find slippers and a safe, so feel free to use them as needed.

To the right of the room entrance, you'll find the bathroom, which includes a bathtub, a sink, and more.

When I travel in Japan, where I often walk tens of thousands of steps daily, I always make sure to book a hotel with a bathtub so I can enjoy a relaxing bath every night.

Having a generously sized bathtub was absolutely wonderful, allowing me to wash away all my fatigue in the hot water.

Bathroom amenities included shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a toothbrush set, a comb, a bath towel, and a razor.

This meant I only needed to pack my own cleansing products from home, which was fantastic for keeping my luggage light!

Finally, the room I stayed in, Room 407, had a view of the building across the street, so it wasn't anything special. However, since I didn't book this accommodation specifically for the view, I thought it was perfectly fine!

Highly Recommended Accommodation for Solo Travel in Osaka!

Today, I introduced the Wellina Hotel Dotonbori, an ideal place to stay for women traveling solo to Osaka.

It boasts excellent accessibility to tourist spots like the airport and Dotonbori, and what's more, the price range is so reasonable even for solo travelers that you can book it without any hesitation.

The room itself was spacious, and the bed was plush, allowing me to enjoy my Osaka trip comfortably throughout my stay.

Although I stayed alone, it's a place I'd heartily recommend for two travelers as well, given its spacious rooms and excellent location.
