Hello, Global Explorers! It's Eunsu-su here.
When you're planning your Weihai adventure, many travelers typically opt for accommodations near Hanlefang (Hanlakbang).
But this time, I decided to shake things up and booked my stay not in Hanlefang, but right by the **International Beach** and
I planned an exciting 6-night, 7-day adventure in Weihai.
More than the bustling energy of Hanlefang (Hanlakbang), I was truly seeking a quiet, rejuvenating getaway.
This gem is conveniently located near three of Weihai's most famous attractions: Huoju 8th Street, International Beach, and Sunset Ancient City. Even better, both **Huoju 8th Street** and the **International Beach** are just about a 10-minute walk away!

Zhouya Seaview Audio-Visual Vacation Homestay (Huoju 8th Street International Coastal Baths)
Since Trip.com is a China-based platform, it offered a fantastic selection of accommodations and tours, along with plenty of discounts. It was genuinely fun to browse through the incredibly diverse room options!
Looking at the regular price, it would typically be around ~$21 per night.
However, thanks to a combination of special accommodation discounts, flight member benefits, and a 3-night discount,
we actually stayed in this ocean-view, value-for-money accommodation for around **~$14 per night** (a total of **~$88 for 6 nights**)! What a deal!
Once you've locked in your travel dates, I highly recommend checking the rates and room availability for your specific itinerary before you book.
Upon arrival, you'll find yourself in what looks like a modern apartment complex.
This isn't a traditional hotel, but rather a unique lodging experience where rooms are shared within a residential apartment building.
As you head forward, you'll spot clear arrow signs guiding you straight to the lobby entrance.
Head into the lobby to get checked in.
Simply show your booking voucher. Keep in mind there aren't fluent English-speaking staff, so using a translation app like Papago will be your best friend for smooth communication!
Don't worry, the check-in process is surprisingly straightforward.
Just scan the WeChat QR code at the counter, and once they confirm you've added them as a friend, you'll receive your elevator card key.
They'll send you the Wi-Fi and room password via WeChat, so be sure to check those. You can also easily communicate any room cleaning requests or other needs directly through WeChat.
4. What's the Room Like?
For our incredible 6-night, 7-day stay, we chose the **Delight Latte Sea View Room**.
It came equipped with a beam projector for enjoying VOD, and offered stunning views of both the city and the sparkling sea.
A convenient portable table was available, perfect for enjoying some delicious delivery food or catching up on work with a laptop.
The outlets included both flat-pin (Type A/B) and some that were compatible with Korean products (Type C/F). For absolute peace of mind, I recommend bringing a universal travel adapter.
Right before your eyes, the sparkling sea stretches out – a truly captivating ocean view!
There was even an adorable cat cushion on the windowsill, adding a charming touch.
Here's what you see when you first step into the room.
Getting a place like this for just ~$21? Absolutely incredible!
You'll find everything you need, from a full-length mirror to cozy indoor slippers.
Toilet paper and bottled water are replenished daily – super convenient!
The hairdryer might have been a 'dupe-son' (a fun way to say knock-off Dyson), but it had surprisingly strong airflow, which was perfect!
I even brought detergent from Korea and used the washing machine, truly
settling in like a local during my stay!
The bathroom was spotless, and the hot water flowed perfectly – a big plus!
Although the towels were disposable, they certainly did the job just fine!
Shampoo, body wash, and even a toothbrush set are all provided for your convenience.
5. Amenities & Insider Tips
Just a 3-minute walk from the accommodation, you'll find a 24-hour supermarket!
During the day, it's staffed, but from evening hours, it shifts to an unmanned, self-service system.
They stock a fantastic variety of goods, from Korean favorites to local Chinese specialties.
With cup noodles and even Korean alcohol available, it's the perfect spot for a late-night snack run!
It might look unmanned, but there's actually a staff member monitoring everything remotely!
I actually thought it was just a video feed until they spoke to me – quite a surprise!
Payment is simple: just use the small kiosk. Scan your items, and you can complete your purchase easily with Alipay.
Traveler's Tip
I frequently ordered delivery through Meituan, which was super handy!
Since an elevator card key is required to access the upper floors, delivery drivers leave your order in the elevator. Once you get the delivery complete notification, you just press your floor number and collect it – a neat system!
This spot has VOD, and you might think, 'How am I going to watch Chinese VOD?'
But surprise! There were actually Korean movies and dramas too, so I happily indulged!
