Hello, I'm Eunsusu.
For those of you looking for amazing places to visit in Weihai,
I highly recommend Tianmu Hot Spring Resort.
I stayed there myself on this trip, and as a property classified as a quasi-5-star resort, both the facilities and the service were quite satisfying.
I'll cover everything from check-in to check-out, plus all the pricing info you'll need when booking.

1. Getting from the Airport to the Resort

📍Gaode Map (Amap)
Weihai Tianmu Hot Spring Resort is located about
a drive of around
30 to 50 minutes from the city center or Weihai Dashuibo International Airport.
We took a Didi taxi from the airport,
it took about 30 minutes and the fare was 40 RMB.
2. Room Type Price Comparison
Weihai Tianmu Hot Spring Resort offers a detailed breakdown of various room types. Here, I'll summarize three types with noticeably different price ranges.
Room Type | Price Range (Per Night) | Booking |
Moon God Pavilion Room King Size Bed (Our Reserved Room) | ~$47~
Garden View Standard Room | ~$69~
Tianmu Pavilion Lake View Standard Room | ~$83~ |
There are many room types, from family rooms to various concept rooms, so be sure to check them out yourself. The room price includes hot spring admission for two (two baths per person) and a breakfast buffet, making it excellent value for money.
Please note that the rates are based on the date we checked, and they can vary depending on your travel dates. Popular rooms may also sell out quickly.
If you have your travel dates set, make sure to check the rates and room availability for your specific dates before booking.
3. Check-in Process & Deposit

We arrived at the Tianmu Hot Spring Resort's main building
at 5:30 PM, after taking a Didi taxi.
Check-in is available from 2:00 PM onwards,
and check-out is by 12:00 PM.

We were informed that the check-in location varies depending on the room type.
A buggy car was waiting for us, and we took it to the building where our room was located.

Tianmu Hot Spring Resort is absolutely huge!
It took us about 3 minutes by buggy car to reach our destination.

As we entered, a staff member was waiting for us.
On the first floor, there's a vending machine offering everything from drinks to instant noodles and ice cream, and payments can be made with Alipay.

This is the information sheet the staff showed us when we checked in.
All the necessary information, from the deposit to breakfast times and Wi-Fi, was translated into Korean, making it super easy to understand.

For anything that needed extra clarification, they even used a phone translator to explain it to us in Korean.
From these thoughtful small details to the incredibly friendly staff,
I highly recommend this place as a must-visit in Weihai!
Deposit 100 Yuan

When checking in, you need to pay a deposit of 100 Yuan.
We paid with Alipay.

The deposit was refunded via Alipay, our payment method, when we checked out. The front desk operates 24/7, so there's no need to worry if you arrive late.

They give you a room key card and a smart bracelet.
The key card is for opening your door, and the smart bracelet is
required for entry to the hot springs and breakfast.
4. Our Reserved Room & Welcome Gift

The room we stayed in for our 1-night, 2-day trip was
the Moon God Pavilion Room with a King-sized Bed.
I was pleasantly surprised by how great the room condition was for the price!

The bed was generously sized, so it felt really spacious.
It was also great to have a convenient side table ready.

The first thing we noticed was the beautiful rice paddy view right outside our window.
It was lovely to be able to enjoy the scenery right from our bed.

There's a separate shower area inside the bathroom.
Hand towels and bath towels are provided separately.

The shower space was also spacious, not cramped at all, which was great.
Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are all included.

The sink is perfect for a quick hand wash.
A hairdryer, slippers, hangers, and even bathrobes are all provided – good to know!

At the sink, you'll find toothbrushes, toothpaste, and even rinsing cups.
Inside the bedroom, you'll find two bottles of mineral water and everything you need to enjoy a cup of tea,
including tea bags and a kettle.
Welcome Gift: Apples!

While we were looking around the room, another staff member came by and gave us apples as a welcome gift. Perhaps because apples are famous in Weihai, they were delightfully tart and sweet!

Right next to the accommodation, there's a big lake with a lovely walking path.
I came out before 7 PM and was able to enjoy some truly stunning scenery.
For reviews of dinner/breakfast and the hot spring,
I'll leave links at the very end of the post!
5. Checkout Experience

Checkout was a breeze – no complicated procedures or questions asked.
I simply returned the card key, and it was done.
The staff member was incredibly attentive until the very end, meticulously checking the deposit refund process.

While I was waiting for the Didi taxi I'd called,
a staff member kindly brought me a bottle of water... I was really touched!
Since the resort is in a somewhat secluded location, Didi taxis can sometimes be hard to find. If that happens, you can ask the front desk on the first floor for their taxi booking service – a handy tip!

Luckily, our Didi taxi was quickly caught in the vicinity,
so we were able to head straight to the city center without any waiting time.
6. A Few Things to Note & What to Pack

💡Just a heads-up: The power outlets here are Type I (flat, two-pin),
so you can't plug in Korean electronics directly.
I highly recommend bringing a universal adapter or a travel adapter that's compatible.
Don't forget to pack one!
7. Final Summary
From Weihai Airport to the resort, it's about a 30-minute Didi ride, costing around 40 CNY.
Based on the room type we stayed in, prices start from around ~$41. There's a wide range, with garden view rooms in the ~$69 range and lake view rooms up to ~$83, so be sure to check your specific dates before booking.
From check-in to check-out, the staff's attentiveness was remarkable, making this accommodation somewhere I can confidently recommend as a must-visit place in Weihai.
