Luori Coffee Weihai: Sunset Castle's Charming Cat Cafe

Today, I'm thrilled to share a fantastic cafe I discovered near Weihai's iconic Sunset Castle – a spot many consider a must-visit in the city. If you're planning to experience the breathtaking sunset at the castle, this cafe is the perfect place to unwind and wait for the magic hour.

Nestled right by Sunset Castle, Luori Coffee (落日咖啡) offers a cozy escape. Let's dive into my review!

1. Luori Coffee Location & How to Get There

You won't miss Luori Coffee! It's conveniently located right near the entrance to Sunset Castle, so you'll definitely spot it on your way in.

It's a bit tricky to get a Didi (taxi service) directly to the Sunset Castle entrance, so I recommend setting your drop-off point at the parking lot entrance. From there, it's just about a 5-minute walk to Luori Coffee.

2. Exterior, Ambiance, Menu & Prices

The cafe is on the second floor, accessible by a cozy staircase. I immediately loved the tranquil, laid-back atmosphere.

Luori Coffee is also renowned as a cat cafe! The resident felines roam freely and comfortably, creating such a relaxing environment that you can't help but feel at ease watching them.

There's seating by the large windows, offering great views, and another separate area further inside. When I visited, I could hear a band playing live music from that inner section – a delightful surprise!

The cafe's interior is beautifully designed with warm wood tones, creating a wonderfully comfortable and inviting feel.

Just look at these adorable cats relaxing below! They were all so friendly and didn't shy away from visitors at all.

The cafe isn't huge, which adds to its intimate charm. The best seats, in my opinion, are those by the large windows, offering a perfect vantage point to look outside.

The interior decor is a delightful mix of classic and retro styles, giving it a unique character.

They even sell small keyrings and magnets, which are fun to browse while you're there.

What truly stood out was the owner's kind explanations and warm smile – something I still remember fondly.

Here's a glimpse of the menu, featuring a variety of drinks and desserts. I ordered two iced Americanos, which came out to 52 Chinese Yuan (approximately ~$7 USD). (Check out the translated menu board for details!)

While there were seats available by the air-conditioned windows, I opted for an outdoor spot to enjoy the fresh air.

Below, I spotted another cat taking a nap – not the same one I saw earlier!

While the sandy beach next to Sunset Castle isn't pristine, I found it quite charming in its own way. And in the distance, you can even catch a glimpse of the Weihai Studio City!

Stepping outside, I captured another shot of the cafe's large windows. The lush greenery created a truly artistic and inviting vibe.
