I used to have some preconceived notions about Chinese restaurants,
but KK Mala Xiang Guo was genuinely clean and comfortable,
and best of all, the food was unbelievably delicious – truly top-notch! ㅠ.ㅠ

KK麻辣香锅(韩乐坊店)!
KK Mala Xiang Guo is so renowned as a Mala Xiang Guo specialty spot that
not only tourists but also a huge number of locals
come here for their meals!
You'll also see tons of delivery drivers coming and going,
which means takeout and delivery orders are available too!

The place is incredibly clean, the ingredients are perfectly prepped,
and the owner and staff are all wonderfully friendly! 💕

I started by picking the ingredients I knew, but you can also
ask the owner for their local recommendations – it's a great idea! Haha.
The owner recommended several ingredients that are popular locally in China,
and everything they suggested was absolutely delicious! 😊
When I didn't spot Chinese wide noodles among the available ingredients, I asked,
and they informed me they have them separately in bags.
So if you'd like to add Chinese wide noodles, just let them know,
and they'll happily include them – no worries at all! Haha.
Also, at KK Mala Xiang Guo, you can customize your spice level:
If you're a mala fan, I recommend 中辣 (medium spice),
but if you're not great with heat, 微辣 (mild spice) is the way to go! 😆

it's unbelievably affordable – an absolute bargain!
Disposable aprons are available near the counter, so feel free to grab one,
and there's a self-service bar on the side where you can get your rice!
Just let them know you'd like rice when you order,
and you can enjoy unlimited rice! 👏🏻

After finishing one bowl, I seriously wanted to eat another,
so when I ordered a second one, the owner just broke out into a huge smile haha.
I took slightly less than the first time,
and it came out to 35.36 yuan! Super cheap! 👍
It was delicious again, of course, and my recommended ingredients for Mala Xiang Guo are:
beef brisket, vegetables, bean sprouts, mushrooms, rice cakes,
tripe, beef, fu zhu (dried tofu skin), and more. (^///^)
Chicken feet were much bigger than in Korea,
so I tried them, but chicken feet were... not quite my thing haha.
Organ meats were also a bit challenging for me, so keep that in mind when ordering.
