2. Daytime Discoveries at International Beach

I arrived at International Beach after exploring Huage 8th Street, and it was around 3:00 PM, so the sun was shining brightly and it was quite warm.

As a popular attraction, the beach was bustling with people. What I found particularly interesting was the presence of specially set-up photo zones directly on the beach, offering paid photography services.

The sand was wonderfully soft, perfect for walking barefoot. Many of the cafes and bars along the beach offer complimentary use of their parasols and sunbeds if you place an order.

The expansive shoreline stretched for miles, and as a popular bathing beach, there were numerous operators offering various exciting activities.

There was a wide array of activities, with prices starting from ~$21 to ~$67. It's definitely worth indulging in a few while you're on vacation!

You'll also find various sand play toys for sale along the beach, so families can easily entertain their children without needing to pack anything extra.
3. Evening Enchantment at International Beach

Since my accommodation was close to the International Beach, I decided to revisit after 6:00 PM, just before dinner, and the atmosphere was completely transformed!

It felt entirely different from the daytime, with plenty of people still enjoying the water and sand play even into the evening.

I took a moment to sit on a bench and soak in the sunset. Watching the sky subtly shift colors, especially in a foreign land, filled me with a wonderfully serene feeling.

At this hour, I highly recommend finding a beach bar, sinking into a beanbag chair, and simply taking in the sunset alongside locals and fellow travelers.
Some spots even enhance the ambiance with bubble machines, and with a variety of cafes and bars, each place has its own unique charm.

You'll also find fun activities like balloon popping games, much like what you'd encounter at popular beaches back home.

As I walked a bit further, I discovered a bar with inviting orange beanbags, perfectly complementing the sunset. The vibe was so incredible that I made a mental note to return after dinner, which I happily did!

There are even amusement park rides, from Viking ships to carousels, ensuring you can have a wonderfully eventful evening even if you just come out for a stroll.
So, what do you think of the evening atmosphere at Weihai's International Beach? Sitting on a beanbag under the night sky, watching the bubbles drift over the sand, it's truly a moment filled with romance.
It offers a completely different charm from the daytime, so if you're looking for things to do in Weihai at night, I highly recommend a visit during these hours.
The ability to experience both the relaxed serenity of the day and the enchanting romance of the night, all in one spot, is truly what makes International Beach so special. If you can, make sure to experience both its daytime charm and its nighttime magic!
