A perfect 4-star ocean view staycation near Daebudo and Sihung Geobukseom Island:
After exploring Daebudo Island, just outside Seoul,
I decided to treat myself to a hotel getaway and stayed at Wave M Hotel on Geobukseom Island!
Wave M Hotel is divided into East and West wings,
and I chose the West wing because the reviews for its location and service were better (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ)
Every room offers an ocean view of the West Sea,
and it's famous for its stunning sunsets, too! Haha.
Parking is available from basement level 1 to above-ground level 6,
and there were so many spaces that even if you arrived late,
you'd still find a spot! It was super spacious.
Plus, parking is free for guests, which made things
incredibly convenient and stress-free! Haha.
Wave M Hotel West is a 4-star hotel, so I paid approximately
~$138 for the Ocean Wave Double room,
and ~$179 for the Ocean Wave Premium Twin room!
Currently, I've found that if you book here,
it seems to be the most affordable with coupons and payment benefits,
so I highly recommend booking through this link👍

Wave M Hotel West: Breakfast & Pool
The lobby is on the 3rd floor, and right opposite the front desk,
you'll find the restaurant where breakfast is served~
Breakfast is served from 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM,
with the last entry at 9:30 AM!
The swimming pool operates from July 1st to August 31st,
and you must bring your own swimwear, swim cap, and aqua shoes!
There are different time slots for Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3, so please check the schedule,
and it's ~$14 for adults and ~$10 for children😉
The fitness center/gym is also on the 7th floor, just like the pool,
and it's open from 7 AM to 9 PM~

I initially booked the Wave M Hotel West
Ocean Wave Double room!
But, thankfully, they gave me an upgrade,
so I 'won' the Ocean Wave Premium Twin room! 😍
Just a heads-up: there's a Naver receipt review event,

As soon as I stepped in, the incredibly spacious kitchen immediately made me think,
'This is the perfect hotel for a luxurious staycation!' ✨
With a roomy four-person dining table and a sink,
it seems like a fantastic option for families with babies or young children too~
The built-in refrigerator was huge, allowing us to store both refrigerated and frozen items
with plenty of space, and since it's a room for three,
there were even three bottles of water! ( •̀ ω •́ )✧
What's amazing is that a microwave and even a washing machine
are right in the room, making it super convenient for heating up food and even washing swimsuits
after a dip in the pool! 😉
When you insert the key card, the windows that were previously obscuring the ocean view
automatically slide open, and it's so incredibly stunning that you can't help but gasp in admiration! (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ)
The living room was also incredibly spacious and designed like a veranda,
making it a hotel with a wonderfully open and expansive feel overall!
With a huge sofa and even a table, perfect for relaxing in front of the TV or enjoying a late-night snack,
their thoughtful design really shines! 💕
It's a smart TV, so Tving, Netflix, YouTube, and more
were all connected, allowing us to watch everything so comfortably. Such a treat! 😉
The bed was incredibly plush, ensuring a deep and restful sleep,
and with outlets right next to the bed, charging our devices was super convenient!
The terrace even had a mini table, perfect for
enjoying the ocean view of Siheung Turtle Island's Sihwa Seawall,
watching the sunset in the evening, or admiring the night view,
all while having intimate conversations. 😆
The Sihwa Seawall, located right in front of the hotel,
offered a lovely path for a walk on the way to the yacht pier,
making it easy to enjoy a leisurely stroll. (≧∇≦)ﾉ
The bathroom was also wonderfully clean and spacious, which was a huge plus,
and most essential amenities were all provided!
From shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand wash
to plenty of towels, everything was there for a comfortable stay~
Having a bathtub allowed us to relax in warm water, so
I think it would be a fantastic choice for those looking for a business hotel too.
It's truly versatile! 😉
The shower and toilet were separate, which was great,
and the water pressure and temperature were good,
plus, the hairdryer had powerful airflow!
Even the bathroom was incredibly satisfying,
making our stay at Turtle Island Hotel absolutely superb! What a gem! 😉
