While I was searching for an ocean-view stay in the Seoul and Gyeonggi area,

I stumbled upon a real gem: Le Collective,

right in front of Siheung Wave Park.

I booked it for around ~$104 during a major holiday week,

and honestly, with such an attractive price even during a holiday,

I couldn't help but wonder, 'Is this place even going to be any good?'

But let me tell you, when I actually arrived, all my worries simply vanished!

It was so much better than I ever expected!!

What exactly is Le Collective Siheung Wave Park?

For anyone planning to make the most of Wave Park,

this location and price are truly the ultimate choice!

It's also super convenient, just about an hour's drive from the Seoul and Gyeonggi area,

making it a perfect spot to casually escape the city and clear your head! :)

Contactless Check-in & Parking

Check-in is completely contactless.

On the day of check-in, you'll receive your room information via your reserved contact number at 1 PM.

No need to stand in line at a front desk,

which made it wonderfully convenient to just head straight to our room.

Contactless check-ins have become quite popular lately,

and I can definitely see why — they're incredibly convenient! :)

Parking is complimentary for one vehicle per room,

though Family Two-room types can accommodate up to two cars.

You can park your vehicle in the parking garage from the 1st to 5th floors,

and once registered, you'll have unlimited entry and exit.

Just a heads-up: vehicles over 2.1m (6.9 ft) in height

will not be able to enter the parking facility, so please keep that in mind.

Studio Loft Partial Ocean Room Review

The room I had the pleasure of staying in this time was a

Studio Loft Partial Ocean.

This room features a duplex layout with a partial ocean view, offering glimpses of the sea.

On the first floor, you'll find the bathroom, kitchen, and bed,

while the second floor boasts a cozy, small floor-seating sofa area.

The clever use of space felt incredibly inviting and cozy.

And let me tell you, the expansive floor-to-ceiling window was absolutely breathtaking.

With the sea stretching out beyond the glass,

I felt an incredible sense of openness as soon as I walked in.

If you visit on a clear day,

you can even witness the stunning sunset right from your room! :)

I, unfortunately, visited on a cloudy and slightly rainy day,

so I missed out on the sunset, which was a genuine regret.

For those of you lucky enough to go on a day with beautiful weather,

make sure to catch the sunset from that floor-to-ceiling window in the evening! It's a must-see! :)

While the bedding might not be five-star hotel quality,

it was certainly comfortable enough for a wonderfully restful sleep.

And that ocean view, visible right from the comfort of the bed,

was just pure bliss and relaxation!!

The first floor also comes with a fully equipped kitchen,

complete with dishes, wine glasses, cups, and all the essentials.

It was generously equipped.

So you'll find everything you need to enjoy meals right in your room.

There's even a table right by the window,

so imagine sipping wine there – the ambiance is just incredible!!

The bathroom was also spacious and pristine.

Local Gem: LA Coco Boiling

Inside a building with ocean views,

there's a restaurant with an incredible waitlist.

It's LA Coco Boiling, a must-visit spot for delicious boiled seafood.

The wait can be quite long, but it's a famous spot,

so it's perfect to put your name down and then take a stroll along the beach while you wait.

Since you can spend the waiting time gazing at the ocean,

it doesn't feel boring at all haha.

Wave Park & The Surrounding Vibe

I didn't actually use Wave Park during my visit this time,

but staying at the accommodation, I saw so many families

coming back excitedly after surfing and enjoying the water activities.

If you stay at this accommodation, you also get exclusive discounts for guests.

Since the hotel and Wave Park are right next to each other,

I thought it would be the absolute perfect combination for families traveling with kids :)

Even at night, quite a few people were out strolling along the ocean.

With the ocean right in front, it's wonderful for an evening walk, breathing in the sea air.

And the biggest charm of this accommodation, I believe, is being able to experience this kind of seaside ambiance

without being far from the Seoul/Gyeonggi area.

As for other facilities, there's a private pool, a panorama pool,

and even a family sauna room.

Please note that separate reservations and additional charges apply, so make sure to check in advance :)
