Tucked away in the heart of Shinsaibashi, this small, modern restaurant might surprise you. If it weren't for the menu displayed outside, you might even walk right past it, wondering if it's really a steakhouse. But don't let the unassuming exterior fool you!
Even though the name includes "Shinsaibashi Branch," I initially thought it was a chain, but it seems to be a unique spot!
Atmosphere
While it looks like a small steak joint from the outside, stepping inside reveals a surprisingly calm and refined ambiance. It’s not quite the stiff, ultra-luxury steakhouse vibe, but rather a "clean, modern Japanese space" where you can savor an authentic Wagyu set meal.
The restaurant spans two floors. The first floor features counter seating, offering a delightful visual experience as you watch the chefs grill the meat right in front of you – perfect for solo diners! The second floor provides more spacious table seating, though be warned, the stairs are quite steep. Regardless of your seating choice, both floors offer a comfortable, clean, and quiet environment for your meal!

Menu and Pricing
The menu primarily features A5-grade Wagyu steak, with prices varying based on the cut and weight.

While ordering is done via QR code, they also provided a physical menu. Given its prime location in Shinsaibashi, it attracts many international visitors, so the menu thoughtfully includes English descriptions.
I opted for the Ichibo (rump cap) steak, approximately 3.5 ounces (100g). If it's your first time, starting with the Wagyu Top Round (Akami) is also an excellent choice! (It was my first time here too, haha!)
Overall, this isn't a budget-friendly spot. However, considering the A5-grade meat and the comprehensive set meal, I'd say the pricing is fair for the quality you receive.
The Set and Its Flavor

Once seated, they immediately brought out the basic settings, complete with various sauces: a spicy Korean chili paste (Gochujang), wasabi, and a garlic sauce. Then came the main event – the full set meal, featuring soup, rice, kimchi, soy sauce, curry, and, of course, the steak.
What impressed me was that even the soup and curry contained A5 Wagyu, making them incredibly flavorful and rich.
I typically don't favor the sweeter Japanese curries, but this restaurant's curry was exceptional. It was so good, I think they could easily offer it as a standalone dish!

👏👏👏👏👏
Words can barely describe it. From the very first bite, I was met with extreme tenderness and rich, savory flavor. Wow... it was just incredibly delicious! I've had Wagyu before, and I've tried many highly-rated cuts of meat, but this place truly stands out.
I started by enjoying the steak plain, then tried it with a touch of wasabi. I skipped the garlic sauce as the smell was quite strong, and the Gochujang didn't quite suit my palate – the meat itself was so fantastic that I felt the chili paste would overpower its natural flavor. So, I passed on that one, haha!
I genuinely cleared my plate – the meat, rice, and soup were all perfectly polished off. I had come with a bit of skepticism, seeing its perfect 5/5 Google rating, but I wholeheartedly give it a full 5 stars myself!
Overall Impression
This is definitely the place to enjoy A5 Wagyu steak in a clean, calm, and sophisticated atmosphere. As someone who appreciates a quiet dining experience, I was thoroughly impressed by the ambiance.
The meat was incredibly tender, and the unique richness of Wagyu was perfectly present. The complete set – including rice, miso soup, kimchi, and a mini curry – made for a truly satisfying and hearty meal.
While the price point is somewhat higher than your average steakhouse or grill, it's a worthwhile indulgence if you're looking for an authentic and high-quality A5 Wagyu experience in Osaka. It might not be the most budget-friendly option, but for those who want to truly savor premium Wagyu, it's absolutely worth a visit.
I'm already excited to see what deliciousness I'll be sharing next!
Stay tuned! ^^
