Today, I'm bringing you an honest review of the most famous theme park in northern Phu Quoc:

VinWonders!

While the south has Sun World Hon Thom,

the north is home to the incredibly massive VinWonders.

They offer free shuttle buses, and you can easily spend an entire day there with just one ticket, so planning your route in advance is key!

1. VinWonders Phu Quoc

VinWonders Phu Quoc is a world-class theme park located in northern Phu Quoc Island.

Many of you might already be familiar with the brand, as there are branches in Hanoi, Nha Trang, and Nam Hoi An too!

But VinWonders Phu Quoc is by far the largest and most spectacular in Vietnam, making it an absolute must-visit during your trip!

All of these attractions are located within VinWonders. Without a solid plan,

it can be tough to fit everything into one day!

Plus, the nearby Safari is mind-blowingly massive and completely blows major amusement park safaris out of the water. Kids absolutely love the giraffe-feeding experience,

so the Safari is a non-negotiable must-visit too!!!

To see it all, the most important tip is to start your day nice and early.

3. Vinpearl Safari

🇻🇳 Safari

Hours: 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Free shuttles run to the Safari from the resorts,

so you can get there comfortably without having to book a taxi.

The most important thing to remember at the Safari is to

buy a Zoo Tram ticket!!

(Adults: ~$5, Children: ~$4, Free for children under 1m)

Phu Quoc is hot and sunny about 300 days a year,

so trying to walk all the way to the wild safari zone without a tram is brutal.

Even in my 20s, my energy was completely drained!

Once you take the tram and bus to the Safari Park,

you'll hop on the safari shuttle to see bears, lions, zebras, and more!

Since they're wild predators, they double-lock the bus doors! 😳

Instead of being cooped up in cages,

the animals roam freely across the vast grasslands, which was absolutely amazing to watch.

The safari is massive, spanning over five different zones,

allowing you to see a huge variety of both herbivores and predators.

At the very end of the trail, there's a Giraffe Restaurant

where you can actually feed them!

They offer a giraffe-feeding experience,

and at only 40,000 VND (~$2), it's incredibly affordable and totally worth trying!

If you're traveling with kids, this is an absolute must-do.

It's rare to find a theme park where you can get this close to the animals, so I highly recommend it! ◡̈

It gets pretty crowded in the afternoon, so I recommend getting there right at opening!

4. VinWonders

VinWonders Water Park, Theme Park & Aquarium

Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:30 PM

- VinWonders Water Park -

The absolute best part?

There were barely any lines, so we rode 8 water slides in just one hour! (๑•᎑< ๑)

With a massive variety of slides, a wave pool, and a lazy river, there's plenty of fun for everyone, from kids to adults.

You can rent lockers and tubes right there, so all you really need to bring are your swimsuit and water shoes to dive right in!

Seriously, there were so few people

that when we walked up, the staff turned the slide water on just for us! lol

The water park is super close, so you can easily transition to the theme park without wasting any travel time.

- VinWonders Theme Park -

VinWonders Theme Park has some seriously thrilling rides that rival major global parks!

There are several roller coaster-style rides,

and since the lines aren't long at all, you can just hop on whatever you want.

From gentle kids' rides to heart-racing thrillers, there is something here to make the whole family happy!

At night, the park lights up and the atmosphere completely transforms, so I highly recommend experiencing both day and night!

- VinWonders Aquarium -

The aquarium is the only fully indoor attraction at VinWonders!

That's why I recommend visiting during the hottest midday hours.

The main highlight here is

the Mermaid Show, which takes place at 14:00 and 15:30,

making it the perfect time to drop by!

But it gets crazy crowded, so

you definitely need to grab a seat by 1:30 PM..^^

5. Pro Tips

Like I've been emphasizing from the start,

you really need to plan your itinerary well to see everything in one day.

🌟 My Recommended Route:

Morning Safari → Lunch/Afternoon Aquarium → Amusement Park → Water Park for the grand finale, then catch the fireworks show before heading out!

That's because once you're done at the water park, you can just dry off a bit

and head straight back to your hotel to shower properly.

Coolly push Grand World (located in the north) to another day,

and dedicate this entire day solely to enjoying VinWonders to the absolute fullest!

💡 Food Tip

For the F&B voucher included in your admission ticket,

I highly recommend the MAHANA BAR right next to the water park!

Why? Because I tried to use mine over at the amusement park side,

but even at 3:00 PM, there wasn't a single seat left, haha. 😭

I even saw someone sharing a table right in the middle of an Indian family.
