Phu Quoc is often lauded as a resort island, perfect for family getaways with luxurious hotel stays, exploring Vinpearl Safari to the north, or venturing to Hon Thom Island in the south. For a solo traveler like me, however, options can sometimes feel a bit more limited. That's why discovering this distinctive service was such a pleasant surprise and a fantastic addition to my itinerary.

You'll find this barbershop conveniently located right next to King Kong Mart. What initially caught my eye was its brightly lit sign, which had a distinctly Korean feel to it, making it stand out.

I hadn't made an appointment, so I somewhat hesitantly walked in.

I considered a cucumber face mask, but I didn't want to reapply sunscreen afterward, so I just went for the first two services from the 'Combo 1' option: the ear cleaning and shampoo.

The interior felt much like any standard barbershop. They started by reclining my chair back. I hadn't realized the process would begin so quickly, so I didn't get a photo of the initial setup. The staff member wore a headlamp and used various specialized tools, giving the whole process a very professional feel.

First, they used a small, delicate tool to 'shave' the inside of my ear. The sound was surprisingly distinct, a soft 'scratch-scratch' right inside my ear, which was quite an unusual sensation!
