Everyone raves about Phu Quoc, saying it's absolutely wonderful.
So, what's it really like at the InterContinental Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort?
My first impression? The lobby was a bit warm.
They offered welcome drinks, but the lobby still felt quite hot.
I could see the pool, but it wasn't quite breathtaking.
But once I got to the hotel room, things felt different!
The room, with its high ceilings and incredible view, was truly amazing.
Ah, it didn't even feel like Phu Quoc... in the best way!
It almost made me wonder if there was any need to go out at all, but there's one downside: a large club on the upper floors can get quite noisy, haha!
We initially got a room on the top floor, but it was too loud, so we moved down one level.
Just a heads-up!
The kids were absolutely thrilled with all the beds, bouncing around happily!
Having a washing machine and dryer was incredibly convenient.
The only drawback? I wasn't entirely sure how well it actually cleaned, haha.
Still, just being able to wash and hang our swimsuits made it incredibly useful.
They're also quite generous with providing water bottles.
The breakfast for kids was absolutely fantastic.
And of course, the adult breakfast was beyond satisfactory.
It really felt like they put a lot of thought into catering to children.
With a separate TV and kids' zone in the breakfast restaurant, breakfast time became
playtime for the kids!
We even experienced the strange phenomenon of them eating for over an hour!!!!
Eating such a hearty breakfast every day often meant we skipped lunch altogether.
The kids' pool at InterContinental Phu Quoc Resort is absolutely fantastic,
making it a perfect choice for families.
Unlike the upper floors of the hotel, there's a wonderfully family-friendly pool for everyone to enjoy!
Anyway, they had a blast on the slides,
rode the tubes,
and devoured food ravenously when they got hungry.
The burgers and pizza were all delicious.
We also ordered Sangria,
and it definitely had a kick... so just a heads-up!
While the water was shallow, it could still be risky depending on a child's height,
so parents really need to keep a close eye on them.
I'm not sure if they were lifeguards or drink vendors, but there were definitely a lot of people around.
Anyway, having a pool that's fantastic for playing in from morning until evening is just wonderful!
It's also close to the city, making it easy to head out for some fun.
Just one Grab ride and everything is sorted!
If you go early in the morning or book the day before,
the kids can play freely at the kids' cafe,
though there were some kids even more energetic than my daughters, so we had to make a quick escape, lololol.
Turns out 'precious' (and challenging) kids are everywhere in the world, haha!
They even lend out bicycles, so we enjoyed a breezy ride with the kids.
But after just 30 minutes, I was already getting tired, haha!
So we quickly headed back to the resort.
That's one of the great advantages of InterContinental Phu Quoc!
After dinner, I even fell asleep during a massage.
Of course, once I woke up, it was back to playing with gusto! It's such a great place because the kids have so much fun!
Dad was definitely the most exhausted one here.
