Maximize your VinWonders Phu Quoc adventure! Discover smart tips for hassle-free luggage storage and locker use at the waterpark, ensuring a seamless and fun-filled day.
I went to Phu Quoc for an early June getaway!
On our last day, after checking out of the hotel,
we took our suitcases with us to VinWonders Phu Quoc.
I'm excited to share my review of enjoying both the water park and amusement park!
📍 VinWonders Phu Quoc
Khu Bãi Dài, Phú Quốc, An Giang 92512 Vietnam

We entered using a pre-purchased QR code,
and decided to hit the water park first.
After entering through the main gate, the water park is on the left,
and the children's play area and aquarium are on the right.
Past the aquarium, you'll find the Ferris wheel,
so we explored in a counter-clockwise direction.
VinWonders Phu Quoc Water Park: Typhoon World

After entering, we snapped a quick photo in front of VinWonders Castle,
and then headed straight in.
Operating hours are 10:00 AM - 5:30 PM
We arrived and entered at 11 AM.

Since we had already checked out,
we brought our suitcases, planning to store them all.
Just like luggage storage at a hotel,
they stored our suitcases behind the counter.
It was 150,000 VND per suitcase.

We also rented a locker to store our changing clothes at the water park,
and we only rented one for the women's changing room.
Wondering how we managed with just one?
1. My husband and child changed in their changing rooms and came out without storing their belongings.
2. I changed in the women's changing room and stored everyone's belongings together.
The locker was packed, but we made efficient use of it!
Also, like in a Korean jjimjilbang (sauna), there's a deposit for the locker key,
※You must return the receipt along with the key to get your deposit back.
I only returned the key and didn't get my deposit back!

These are the men's and women's changing rooms, with restrooms in the middle.
It's not like in Korea where you take off your shoes before entering,
so changing clothes can be a bit inconvenient. I recommend wearing your swimwear in advance.
The showers, unlike Korean water parks where they're practically open bathhouses
where everyone's nudity is visible,
here, they're individual stalls like restrooms (thankfully! 😄).

The toddler play facilities are excellent,
and VinWonders Phu Quoc Water Park truly impressed with its diverse range of slides,
especially beyond the main pool!

You can't wear hats on the slides,
so we stored them on the racks before climbing the stairs.
These storage racks were everywhere, so we even put our phones in the non-woven bags provided by the water park
and enjoyed the slides worry-free.

We purchased our VinWonders Phu Quoc tickets through Klook.
Since we planned to have lunch at the food and beverage outlets within VinWonders,
we bought tickets that included an F&B voucher.
The adult ticket included 150,000 VND and the child ticket included 100,000 VND,
allowing us to use a total of 400,000 VND.
There wasn't a huge price difference compared to regular admission tickets,
and we certainly made the most of it with a delicious meal!

If you purchase by September 30th,
you can also apply coupons. As peak season approaches,
prices tend to rise, so make sure to use a coupon
and purchase in advance!
Coupon Code | Discount Amount | Purchase Amount |
세시간전260001 | ~$1 discount | For purchases over ~$35 |
세시간전260002 | ~$2 discount | For purchases over ~$69 |
세시간전260003 | ~$5 discount | For purchases over ~$138 |
Dining at VinWonders Phu Quoc Water Park

This restaurant was located to the left of the changing rooms.
We came because we heard their grilled skewers were delicious.
Here, we used the food and beverage voucher that came with our ticket
to enjoy our lunch!

Just show the QR code from your admission ticket
at the counter when you pay, and it will be automatically deducted.
It's that easy to order!

The delicious aroma of grilled skewers reached us from afar,
so we ordered chicken and pork skewers.
I couldn't capture it in a photo, but I highly recommend the sausages too!!!
They also grilled the Banh Mi over charcoal, so we paid an additional fee
and had more with beer. Card payments are accepted too!
If you put the grilled meat and vegetables from the skewers into a Banh Mi,
it becomes the ultimate Banh Mi sandwich!
The Thrilling Slides at VinWonders Water Park

Our 8-year-old, a first-grader, is about 124 cm tall,
and since most slides require a minimum height of 120 cm,
there were plenty of rides for them to enjoy.

There's a body slide with an angle you wouldn't even see in Korea,
and the snake-shaped tube slide is incredibly fun – highly recommended!
Best of all, when we went around 11 AM, there was hardly anyone else on the slides,
so we rode the slides for over an hour straight!

There are also slides you can ride with three people,
making VinWonders Phu Quoc truly a paradise for slides!
If you love slides, make sure to get there right at opening
and ride to your heart's content!

In front of the main pool, DJs and dancers
came to put on a performance.
I actually got hooked on a Vietnamese dance song I heard there,
and I'm still searching for it and listening to it often....

We played at the water park from 11 AM to 4 PM,
then, aligning with the water park's closing time, rode the other rides from 4 PM to 5:30 PM.
We couldn't see the Once Show because we were moving to the central part of the island,
but if you're staying in the northern area, I think following the schedule below
would be perfect for enjoying a full day at VinWonders Phu Quoc.
| Start Time | End Time |
Water Park | 11:00 | 15:00 |
Aquarium | 15:00 | 16:30 |
Rides | 16:30 | 18:30 |
Once Show | 18:30 | |
We only passed by the aquarium,
but we heard there are mermaid shows at 2 PM and 4 PM.
So, a great itinerary would be to play at the water park in the morning,
then head to the aquarium to catch the 4 PM mermaid show.
I highly recommend this route for smooth transitions!
VinWonders Theme Park Rides

After a quick rinse at the water park, we headed over to the rides, and guess what?
At this time, there were hardly any people on the rides either!

There were quite a few rides that kids under 120cm could enjoy, so we actually rode the slow but charming train,
and also the spinning, vertical-motion bird ride.
There was even a spot where you could shoot laser guns, so we went "Pew pew!"
Aquarium / Ferris Wheel

We only managed to glimpse the giant turtle-shaped aquarium as we passed by. It's a real shame!
Now that I've been, I realize trying to visit both Vinpearl Safari and VinWonders all in one day
is pretty ambitious. Even just seeing VinWonders felt too short, so
depending on your preferences, a 2-day pass seems like a fantastic option!

What's an amusement park without a Ferris wheel, right?!
Its sheer size made me a little nervous, but
my child absolutely loved it! And with air conditioning,
even though the sun was strong, it wasn't too hot inside.
We could even spot the hotel where we'd stayed by the beach,
and then we saw the flume ride, so we headed straight there to ride it!

As expected, there was no line, so we got on right away (we visited on a Saturday).
I still remember having to wait an hour at Lotte World (visited on a Wednesday) and missing out, so
we rode it twice here!
Even though we got completely soaked down to our underwear,
we were already drenched in sweat, so it was just pure, unadulterated fun!

It was almost closing time, so they weren't operating, but
there are also thrill rides for adults, like a Gyro Drop and more.

They said the water park locker closing time was 5:30 PM, so we hurried over,
but it turned out that was just the water park's overall closing time.
There were still many people using the facilities, so
I think you can arrive a bit later and still have plenty of time.
After 1 PM, the water park does get quite crowded, so
I highly recommend visiting before 11 AM and starting with the slides!
Usually, after I visit a water park, I tend to get skin problems,
and they can be quite severe. But after my trip to VinWonders Phu Quoc,
I had no issues, which made me even more satisfied.
If you love water parks and have kids,
I truly encourage you to add this to your travel plans!
Yes, you can store your luggage even after hotel check-out. Luggage can be left behind the VinWonders counter, and there is a fee of ~$104 per piece of luggage.
A deposit is required for the locker key when using a locker. To get your deposit back, you must return both the locker key and the receipt. You will not receive your deposit back if you return only the key without the receipt.
You cannot wear a hat when using the slides; it must be stored on a rack before going up the stairs. For your phone, you can place it in a non-woven bag provided by the water park and store it in the designated storage boxes located throughout the park before using the slides.
When paying at the food and beverage outlets, simply show the QR code photo used for admission, and the voucher amount will be automatically deducted, allowing you to place your order. The voucher was worth ~$104 for an adult ticket and ~$69 for a child ticket, with a total usage limit of ~$276.
When visiting around 11 AM, there were very few people on the slides, allowing us to enjoy them for over an hour. After 1 PM, the water park gets crowded, so it is recommended to visit before 11 AM and enjoy the slides first.
