If you're planning a Phu Quoc trip with young children,
you're probably looking for attractions
that your kids will absolutely love.
Among the many attractions, Vinpearl Safari allows you to see animals
up close and even interact with them,
making it a place kids will absolutely adore.
What's more, it offers such unique experiences
that adults can thoroughly enjoy it too.
Today, I'll share my experience and tell you all about how to book your Vinpearl Safari tickets
and why it's such a kid-friendly paradise,
along with my personal review from my recent visit!

Vinpearl Safari operates daily from 9 AM
until 4 PM, a relatively short window,
and since it's a popular attraction drawing many tourists,
I highly recommend arriving right when it opens.
The entrance to Vinpearl Safari is quite a distance
from the resorts and city center.
Therefore, I suggest taking the VinBus that serves your resort
or a Grab taxi to get there.
How to Book Vinpearl Safari Tickets
Booking your Vinpearl Safari tickets in advance is both
more affordable and convenient.
When you book ahead, you'll receive your tickets as a QR code, just like in the picture,
allowing you to enter directly.
Keep in mind that exploring Vinpearl Safari takes
at least three hours, and if you're with kids,
it could easily take up to half a day.
(There's surprisingly a lot to see and experience!)
Therefore, rather than a combo ticket that includes VinWonders,

Also, the 'Zoo Tram' – the mode of transport inside the safari –
is absolutely essential to book alongside your ticket for a comfortable visit.

Vinpearl Safari Daytime Tour Review
Next, I'll share my Vinpearl Safari daytime tour experience!
After passing through the safari entrance and walking a bit further,
we immediately spotted flamingos by the pond.
Their sudden appearance was quite a surprise,
but their vibrant pink hues kept drawing our eyes.
Next, we exchanged our tickets at the counter in front of the Zoo Tram boarding area.
Since we booked it along with our entrance tickets,
we just showed our QR code to get our wristbands.
It's a paper wristband ticket, so you should wear it on your wrist
throughout your safari visit!
Vinpearl Safari is much larger than you might expect,
and Phu Quoc is even hotter than you can imagine.
Riding the Zoo Tram solves both of these issues,
so it's definitely a must-take.
(It's especially essential if you're visiting with kids!)
The first animal you absolutely must meet at the safari is
And just like that, we were face-to-face with a magnificent elephant!
We got to see the elephants from a mere 1 to 2 meters away,
it was much closer than I ever imagined!
Despite their impressive size, they were incredibly gentle and utterly adorable!
One absolute must-do experience here is the feeding!
If you purchase a vegetable feed cup, just like the one in the photo,
you get the incredible opportunity to feed the elephants yourself.
When you extend your arm to offer the vegetables, watching the elephants skillfully take them with their trunks and eat is truly mesmerizing.
I observed that most families visiting with children absolutely loved participating in this hands-on feeding experience!
Next, we hopped back on the zoo tram, moving past enclosures where we could glimpse magnificent herbivores
– animals you'd typically find roaming the savannas, or perhaps even in the sights of a lurking tiger!
While you might feel like your glimpse was too brief, there's no need to fret!
You'll get a much longer and more immersive encounter later on the safari bus!
Next up, we ventured to the most renowned spot at Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc: the Giraffe Restaurant!
This place is truly unique – while it's technically a restaurant, there's a giraffe enclosure right beside it,
meaning it's always bustling with visitors.
(Funnily enough, very few people were actually dining!)
Here, too, you can enjoy a fantastic feeding experience!
However, due to their remarkably long necks, giraffes can sometimes quickly plunge their faces into the feed cup and grab the food.
For safety, especially with children, it's best to offer them food one piece at a time rather than handing over the entire cup.
And here's a little secret: giraffes are smarter than they look!
If they don't see any food, they tend not to approach.
So, if you're dreaming of that perfect, face-to-face 'shot of a lifetime' with a giraffe,
I highly recommend buying at least one piece of feed!
Up next was the absolute highlight of Vinpearl Safari:
the safari bus ride!
The outside weather was scorching, but stepping onto the bus with its blasting air conditioning
felt like a true breath of fresh air – a real lifesaver!
The very first animal we encountered was the majestic tiger.
As our bus passed, the keepers intentionally tossed food to showcase their incredible agility.
It was absolutely breathtaking to witness them snatch their meal with such lightning speed,
a true testament to the powerful muscles in their legs!
After that thrilling encounter, we explored every nook and cranny of the safari,
spotting a dazzling array of animals you'd typically find roaming the plains of Africa
– think rhinos, lions, giraffes, zebras, and so many more!
Even though our view was through the windows,
the sheer vitality and impact of these magnificent creatures were profoundly conveyed!
As we wrapped up our safari adventure and headed towards the exit,
we stumbled upon a delightful Kids Zoo conveniently located near the entrance.
It looked like a wonderful place to interact with gentle animals, like fluffy sheep,
and even try your hand at feeding them.
And true to its name, the Kids Zoo was indeed bustling with far more families and their little explorers
than adults traveling solo!
So, in just about three hours,
we wrapped up our whirlwind safari tour.
There were quite a few spots we didn't get to explore fully,
leaving us with a bit of FOMO!
I think it would be great to set aside a generous half-day for your visit!
