VinHolidays Fiesta Phu Quoc Review 2026: Family Stay
Looking for an affordable family resort in Phu Quoc? VinHolidays Fiesta offers incredible pools and breakfast for just ~$64 a night. Here is our honest review.
If you're heading to northern Phu Quoc, there's a highly popular stay loved by travelers: a fantastic 4-star hotel called 'VinHolidays Fiesta'. For around ~$64 a night, you get to enjoy both an amazing swimming pool and a delicious breakfast. Honestly, of all the hotels I've visited recently, none had a better pool than this one.
If you're planning a family trip to the northern part of the island, I highly recommend VinHolidays Fiesta. Let me walk you through all its pros and cons!

Getting to VinHolidays Fiesta

VinHolidays Fiesta is located near Grand World in northern Phu Quoc. To get here from the airport, you can either request a pickup service or grab a taxi, which takes about 50 minutes.

I took a taxi up from the central area. It took about 30 minutes, and the fare was 200,000 VND (approx. ~$6).

As soon as I got out of the taxi, the staff came over to help with my luggage. No matter where you go in Vietnam, the hotel staff are always so welcoming and friendly, which instantly puts you in a great mood! haha
Check-in

Since it wasn't check-in time yet, I decided to drop off my luggage first. The room I booked was the entry-level Standard Twin.

There was a rather unique step during check-in: you have to register your face to access the breakfast buffet! Head to the far left end of the counter, and you'll find a photo registration machine. Guided by the staff, I got my photo registered, went out to explore for a bit, and returned later to collect my room key.

When the official check-in time of 3:00 PM arrives, the lobby starts getting packed. It got so crowded and hectic that it felt like a busy market! To save yourself some time and stress, I'd highly recommend avoiding the 3:00 to 4:00 PM rush and arriving a bit later.
The Room

Because the hotel is massive, it took me quite a while just to find my room number! The interior of the room isn't exactly jaw-dropping—it's pretty standard. If you're expecting high luxury, you might be a tad disappointed, but remember: the real charm of VinHolidays lies in its fantastic amenities!

I noticed a door right next to the bed and wondered what it was—it turned out to be an interconnecting door to the adjacent room. It was locked, of course, but probably because of this door, I could hear a bit of chatter from the family next door. That said, the overall soundproofing, including from the hallway, was actually pretty decent.

From the balcony, you get a view of the distant mountains. Since there are no other hotels or buildings directly opposite, you get excellent privacy.

Two complimentary bottles of water, tea bags, and Vietnam's famous Legend coffee are nicely laid out for you.

Compared to the somewhat simple bedroom, the bathroom was spotlessly clean. The water pressure was strong, and it was so well-maintained that it was hard to find any dust or water spots. While they do provide basic shampoo and body wash, I highly recommend bringing your own personal toiletries.

Both the in-room safe and the hair dryer worked perfectly. But instead of just lounging inside, let's go check out what else this place has to offer, shall we?

Standard Twin (2 Pax) | ~$30 | ~$38 | ~$38 |
Family Room (3 Pax) | ~$72 | ~$92 | ~$92 |
When it comes to booking accommodations abroad, nothing beats Agoda. What’s even more amazing is that even for a Friday night, it was only ~$64, and that includes breakfast for three! Isn't that an unbelievable price?
The Swimming Pool

What’s even more mind-blowing is the swimming pool. The sheer size of it is absolutely massive.

Just throw on your swimsuit or rash guard and dive right in. With a depth of 1.2 meters, it's the perfect spot for both adults and kids to enjoy splashing around.
Usually, when you use smaller hotel pools, there are never enough sunbeds, or it's just too crowded to actually swim. You won't have that problem at VinHolidays. There are plenty of sunbeds, and you can enjoy some real swimming. I even brought my goggles and spent about an hour practicing my freestyle and breaststroke, haha!

Once you're done swimming, they have large pool towels ready for you, so you can easily dry off and return them. See that little side path on the left? If you head out through the back of the hotel, it connects directly to Grand World. I didn't know about this shortcut at first and walked all the way around the hotel, but this is way faster. You can reach the heart of Grand World in just 5 minutes!

Before heading to the pool, I also took a quick look at the gym. With four treadmills and dumbbells of various weights, it's perfectly fine for a light workout.
Breakfast

The next morning! A photo of me checking in popped up on the screen. Hello there, my face! HI!

Make sure to book a room option that includes breakfast. While you can eat at the regular restaurants in Grand World, there aren't many good options open early in the morning.

Starting off with a hot bowl of Vietnamese noodle soup (pho)...

I filled my plate with some freshly made omelets, fresh fruit, and salad. Just like the pool, the dining area is massive, so there was plenty of seating available.

That was my review of VinHolidays Fiesta Phu Quoc, located in Grand World, northern Phu Quoc. The price per night is unbelievably budget-friendly, and the quality of the pool and breakfast you get for that price is remarkably high.
It's perfect whether you're traveling solo like me, as a couple, or with family—I'm sure everyone would love it here.
