Villa Aria Muine Review 2026: Best Boutique Resort Stay
Planning a trip to Vietnam's stunning coastal dunes? Here's why staying at Villa Aria Muine beats a rushed day trip, complete with ocean views and tips.
Most travelers treat the Mui Ne sand dunes
as a quick day trip from Nha Trang,
but I highly recommend staying at least one night.
It has a completely different, laid-back coastal village vibe compared to Nha Trang,
making it the perfect spot to unwind and recharge.
I fell completely in love during my two-night stay—I'd return in a heartbeat!

Here is my honest, unsponsored review of my 2-night stay
at the incredible value-for-money Villa Aria Muine.

Villa Aria Muine Resort
Check-in: 2:00 PM
Check-out: 12:00 PM (Noon)
* Luggage storage available before/after check-in
* Early check-in subject to room availability
I originally booked this spot because of the unbeatable price
and the stunning ocean-view pool.
It exceeded my expectations in every way, so it's a massive recommendation!

📍 Garden Deluxe Room
Breakfast included (3 guests) / ~$262 total
(That breaks down to just ~$38 per person, per night!)
✔️ Complimentary Perks:
Welcome fruit basket / Afternoon tea
We booked this rate during the peak season in late January/early February.
If you're booking now in May 2026, you can often find rates around ~$69 per night for two people.

I debated between this property and Bamboo Village Resort, which has a similar price point.
Ultimately, I couldn't pass up Villa Aria's charming boutique landscaping and that ocean-view pool.
I am so glad I made this choice!
Since we were a group of three, we added an extra bed.
I was worried it might be flimsy, but it felt almost identical to the standard beds.
We slept incredibly well during our two nights.
📍 Villa Aria Muine
60A Nguyễn Đình Chiểu, khu phố 1, Thành phố Phan Thiết, Bình Thuận, Vietnam
Location-wise, it's closer to the main strip than Bamboo Resort,
making it super easy to pop in and out.
There's also a late-night convenience store right next door, perfect for midnight snack runs.
Lobby, Cafe & Pool Area

The resort has a beautifully quaint, boutique lobby.
Because it's a smaller property, the check-in and check-out process
was completely seamless and never crowded.

We arrived way before our official check-in time after our Sunrise Jeep Tour.
The staff happily stored our luggage,
and we chilled at the poolside cafe while we waited.

We ordered a beer, a cocktail, and fresh watermelon juice.
Total cost? 160,000 VND (about ~$7).
The ocean view from the cafe was simply breathtaking.
The waves here can get quite strong, making it a popular spot for kite surfers.
It was so much fun just sitting back and watching them glide across the water.
They also serve complimentary Afternoon Tea from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
The snacks are simple, but just sitting there soaking in the coastal breeze
was pure bliss.

Unlike the busy tourist hubs, we mostly saw Western travelers here.
Since many tourists just do rushed day trips,
staying overnight gave us a much more authentic, exotic getaway feel.
(Seriously, if you're reading this—book a night or two!)

The pathway leading from the lobby into the resort grounds is gorgeous,
but the walkway opening up to the pool area completely stole my heart!
This tropical aesthetic is exactly why we travel to Southeast Asia! ♥
Getting this kind of view at such a reasonable price is the ultimate travel hack.

The pool view was the main reason I booked this place,
and it absolutely did not disappoint.
✔️ Pool hours: 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM
(They even have an air pump if you bring your own pool floaties!)
The pool isn't massive, but since it's a boutique resort,
there were always plenty of sun loungers available.

Most of the other guests preferred lounging with a good book
rather than swimming,
so we practically had the entire pool to ourselves!
Just a heads up: the pool gets quite deep toward the back.
If you aren't a strong swimmer, definitely grab a floatie.
Maximum depth: 1.7m (~5.6 feet)
Room Condition
Garden Deluxe Room
Our room was on the second floor, and the staff kindly carried our luggage up.
The only downside is that there's no elevator, so you will have to use the stairs.

It wasn't an issue during our stay, but lugging heavy suitcases
down at check-out was a bit of a workout.
Thankfully, our room was right near the lobby!

We were greeted with a welcome fruit basket of mini bananas and tangerines.
The tangerines were incredibly sweet and refreshing.
The room includes an electric kettle, refrigerator, cups, and plates.
The mini-fridge was remarkably powerful, keeping our local beers ice-cold.

The bathroom was spacious and spotless.
It came stocked with all the basic amenities
and plenty of fresh towels.
(If you need more, just call the front desk—they bring them up immediately.)
The provided toiletries smelled nice, though the conditioner wasn't the best.
I'd recommend packing your own hair treatment.
Also, while many travelers bring filtered showerheads to Southeast Asia,
the water quality here was fantastic.
Even after two days, our travel shower filter barely changed color!

I had read reviews mentioning the rooms could feel damp due to the lush gardens,
but honestly, turning on the AC for just a few minutes cleared the humidity right up.
Nothing to worry about!
The balcony view was an absolute dream—so green and peaceful! ♥
The room itself was more than spacious enough for three adults.
There's a dedicated area to store suitcases,
so we never felt cramped.

For breakfast, the Pho (Vietnamese noodle soup) was the absolute highlight.
The rest of the spread was fairly average, with a modest selection.
My sister, a huge bread lover, was jokingly outraged by the lack of traditional jam.
Haha!

It turns out Villa Aria leans heavily toward a plant-based, eco-friendly menu.
There weren't many heavy meat options, no dairy butter, and the sausages
were actually plant-based! Keep this in mind if you're a big meat-eater.
Essential Mui Ne Travel Tips
1. Use the Grab App
When getting around, Grab (the Uber of Southeast Asia) is your best friend!
Download it and set up your payment method before your trip.
The midday sun is scorching hot, so even for a 5-minute walk,
we just called a Grab. Don't feel bad about booking short rides—
drivers accept them quickly, and it saves you from melting.
Fares usually ranged from just ~$1.20 to ~$1.90.
Since Mui Ne is more of a quiet village, traffic dies down at night.
We felt completely safe walking around in the evenings.
Villa Aria is perfectly located—everything is about a 10 to 15-minute walk,
which was great for digesting our heavy dinners.
2. Currency Exchange & ATMs
The most popular spot for currency exchange in Mui Ne is
the laundry shop right next to Sindbad Kebab.
📍 Sindbad Kebab
133 Nguyễn Đình Chiểu, Phường Hàm Tiến, Thành phố Phan Thiết, Bình Thuận, Vietnam
📍 cửa hàng Muine Laundry
139a Nguyễn Đình Chiểu, Phường Hàm Tiến, Thành phố Phan Thiết, Bình Thuận 801090 Vietnam
If you run out of cash, ATMs are easily accessible.
Using a travel card with zero foreign transaction fees (like Revolut or Wise)
at the BIDV ATMs will save you from hefty withdrawal fees.
Some Asian digital wallets work here too.

Just make sure your international debit card
is unlocked for overseas use before you leave!

Funny story: I miscalculated our bill at Sindbad Kebab
and panicked thinking we were short on cash. I thought the laundry shop
was far away due to a map glitch, so I frantically searched for an ATM.
That's how I discovered the ATM trick!

Turns out, we had enough cash anyway, the laundry shop was right there,
and my travel card offered fee-free withdrawals.
But I panicked and used an alternative method that charged a small fee. Oops!
At least the fee was minimal.
📍 BIDV ATM
94 Nguyễn Đình Chiểu, Phường Hàm Tiến, Thành phố Phan Thiết, Bình Thuận, Vietnam
📍 Sindbad Kebab
133 Nguyễn Đình Chiểu, Phường Hàm Tiến, Thành phố Phan Thiết, Bình Thuận, Vietnam
Either way, it's great to know that the BIDV ATM
is a reliable and affordable backup if you need emergency cash!
Villa Aria Muine: Final Verdict
✔️ The Downsides
Honestly, between the incredible price, clean rooms, and stunning pool,
there wasn't much to complain about, but if I had to nitpick:
- The in-room table is quite small.
- You have to use stairs to reach the second floor.
- There's only one mirror, so bringing a compact mirror is helpful.
Other than that, everything was perfect! ❤️
The rooms are spacious and fresh, the extra bed was comfy,
daily housekeeping was excellent,
the pool is a dream, and the location is unbeatable.
If you're planning a trip to Mui Ne,
I cannot recommend Villa Aria enough!
It is easily one of the best boutique resorts in the area ‼️
