To give you the bottom line first, online booking in advance is a must.

Currently, they do not sell tickets at the park entrance.

Ticket booth sales at the entrance ended in 2025,

so you cannot purchase admission tickets on-site.

Especially during summer vacation, Japanese holidays, and weekends,

tickets for the day are very likely to sell out.

So once your travel dates are set,

Is a basic admission ticket enough for Super Nintendo World?

This is what confuses most visitors the most!

Just having a Universal Studios Japan Studio Pass (admission ticket)

doesn't mean you are guaranteed

entry into Super Nintendo World.

On busy days, you need an Area Timed Entry Ticket or

an Area Timed Entry Pass, and during peak season, morning

timed entry tickets run out very quickly in the morning.

Especially if you absolutely want to experience

Mario Kart and Donkey Kong Country, choosing a package with
