A friend came up from Pohang, and we visited Wave Park.
It's a place I absolutely love,
so we decided to book accommodation for a night and make the most of it.
We were looking for a place within a 10-minute walk of Wave Park
with convenient parking,
and ended up booking Urbanstay Siheung Geobukseom.

it's a good idea to compare real-time prices before booking.
How to Check In?
It's an unmanned accommodation operating without a separate front desk,
so when it's check-in time, you'll receive your room number and password,
and you can go straight in.
Just in case, there are even detailed check-in instructions
posted in the elevator.
Perhaps because many foreign tourists visit,
they're also written in detail in English.
Other important information, like waste disposal,
can be checked in detail on your phone,
so be sure to read it carefully and don't miss anything.
Is parking convenient?

There's an underground parking garage from B1 to B4.
While the parking lot isn't huge,
I didn't experience any inconvenience from parking to getting to the room.
Studio Random Room Review
I booked a "Studio Random" room and was assigned a double bed.
Overall, it was very clean, and having an island table made it easy
to enjoy simple meals.
From the room's terrace, you can see the adjacent building and the ocean.
But if you head up to the rooftop, you get a much more open view, seeing the distant ocean and even Wave Park.

The facilities here were perfectly set up for an extended stay.
Our room came equipped with an induction cooktop, microwave, refrigerator, and washing machine as standard,
meaning we could easily prepare simple meals and do our laundry.

Discovering the Rooftop Garden
From our room, we had a view of the neighboring building and a glimpse of the ocean,
but heading up to the rooftop garden offered a distant panorama of Wave Park and the sparkling sea – absolutely perfect for a refreshing breather.
Wondering about a Pool?
While Urbanstay doesn't have its own swimming pool,
you do get a fantastic view of Wave Park right from the rooftop.
Need Luggage Storage?
There's a self-service luggage storage area on the 5th floor,
which is incredibly handy if you've got a lot of gear before check-in or after check-out.
An Unbeatable Choice for Extended Stays
Each room is thoughtfully equipped with an induction cooktop, microwave, refrigerator, and washing machine,
and the ability to wash wet rash guards and swimsuits right after surfing is a game-changer!
Plus, a balcony provides extra space for larger items and even your surfboard.
This place feels tailor-made for anyone planning multiple days at Wave Park or even dreaming of a month-long 'living like a local' experience on Geobukseom (Turtle Island).
Exploring the Local Food Scene
Wave Park is a quick, leisurely stroll, less than 10 minutes away.
For dinner, we decided on Geobukseom Sogopchang (Grilled Beef Intestines) located conveniently on the first floor of our building,
meaning we didn't have to move our car again – talk about convenience!
While delivery is certainly an option,
beyond the grilled beef intestines, you'll find chicken joints, Korean BBQ spots, convenience stores, and traditional Korean restaurants nearby –
so many fantastic options are within easy walking distance,
I highly recommend exploring them in person!

The next day, we ventured to Songdo, less than a 30-minute drive, for some delicious bagels.
Oido is also quite close, and I used to visit often for grilled clams,
but I loved how easy it was to explore both Geobukseom and Songdo together from here.
