That's when I discovered this local favorite tucked inside the lively Ohatsutenjin shopping street.

I brought my parents along, and it turned out to be an absolute hit.

as well as comfortable tables that are great for families and small groups.

Because the space is relatively small and highly popular,

I highly recommend making a reservation in advance.

We booked ahead, and they had our table ready right as we walked in.

Even though this spot is a favorite among locals,

But when the lid opened, I was blown away by how massive and plump the eel was!

It had this gorgeous, glossy glaze that looked absolutely mouthwatering.

Taking the first bite, the texture was incredibly soft and tender,

and the sweet-savory sauce was perfectly balanced.

Eating the unagi on its own is fantastic, but adding a touch of

fresh green onions and a dab of wasabi elevates it to a whole new level.

The combo of green onions, wasabi, and fluffy rice is pure perfection.
