You'll find the Umeda Sky Building conveniently located within walking distance from Osaka Station. Once you arrive, just follow the clear directional signs to the observatory. You'll typically head up to the 3rd floor initially, then transfer to another escalator for the final ascent.
Admission and Tickets
If you're purchasing tickets on-site for the Umeda Floating Garden, admission is typically ~$10 for adults and ~$5 for children. However, if you're holding an Osaka Amazing Pass, you can enter for free! Just remember, the pass is only valid for daytime entry; you can't use it for evening admission. Looking up at the Umeda Sky Building from below, you can clearly see the striking "floating" escalators connecting the two towers. One carries visitors up, and the other brings them back down, adding to the unique architectural experience.

After ascending those impressive escalators, you'll arrive at the indoor observatory. Head up one more level, and you'll step out onto the open-air Sky Garden, where you'll often find a refreshing breeze—sometimes quite a strong one!

After 04:00 PM, you can still get a 30% discount on your admission ticket if you have the pass. So, if you plan to use your Osaka Amazing Pass for free entry, make sure to schedule your visit to the Umeda Floating Garden before 04:00 PM.
