I'm excited to introduce the hotel I stayed at

during my recent trip to Osaka!

I visited just a month after it opened, and I was incredibly satisfied with this place – it's

super clean and the location is fantastic!

What's more, with prices starting from just ~$37-45 based on the lowest rates,

the price is absolutely fantastic!

The place we're diving into today is the Travelodge Osaka Shinsaibashi,

which **just opened its doors in August 2026**.

Travelodge is a well-known brand operating

hotels across various regions in Asia 🏨

With this new opening in Shinsaibashi,

Osaka travelers now have one more fantastic accommodation option

to choose from! 🏨

Best of all, true to a newly opened hotel,

I was really impressed by the overall spotlessly clean atmosphere.

The lobby was surprisingly spacious, creating a wonderful first impression,

and with the rooms also meticulously maintained,

my stay was incredibly comfortable.

2. Hotel Location

When traveling to Osaka, location is absolutely key, isn't it!

Especially in Osaka, with so many travelers focusing on major tourist spots like Dotonbori, Shinsaibashi, and Namba,

having a convenient base for getting around is definitely preferred.

This spot is located right in front of Nagahoribashi Station,

making public transport incredibly convenient.

I loved that the location allowed me to **walk to both**

Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori.

Being able to enjoy Dotonbori and Don Quijote late into the night

and walk back without needing a taxi was a huge plus!

And get this – all three major **convenience stores** are nearby~

Lawson is right next door.

4. Room Review

Check-in is from 3 PM, and check-out is by 10 AM!

Even if you're checking out at 10 AM, don't worry – you can store your luggage, which is super handy!

You can stash your bags right in the 1st-floor lobby, and get this – they even have a scale to weigh your luggage! Talk about thoughtful!

One of the biggest things I look for when picking a place to stay is the room's condition.

Even with a prime location, if the room feels old or isn't spotless, it just dampens the whole experience.

And in that regard, Travelodge Osaka Shinsaibashi really impressed me!

The room I stayed in was a

Standard Double Room.

Since it's a brand-new hotel that just opened in August, everything felt so fresh and clean! The room, the bedding, even the bathroom – all absolutely spotless, which I loved.

Many Japanese business hotels are known for their compact rooms,

and this one is no exception – the room itself is quite cozy.

But here's a feature I personally loved:

you can store your suitcase right under the bed,

making clever use of that space!

In Japan, space for luggage can often be a challenge,

so having that under-bed storage was a real game-changer!

While the room isn't overly spacious,

it even has a small seating area,

and the way the space is utilized efficiently

was very satisfying.

Best of all, I loved being able to relax comfortably

in such a clean room. 🤍

Right from the bed in the room,

you can even directly charge your devices with Type-C,

which was absolutely fantastic!

(Perfect for scrolling on your phone while lounging!)

There's also a TV right across from the bed.

You can use Netflix and YouTube.

5. Breakfast Review

This time, I also decided to try out the breakfast separately.

To be honest, I went without high expectations,

but it turned out to be more satisfying than I thought!

When traveling, mornings can often be busy with sightseeing,

so being able to grab a quick meal at the hotel

before heading out was really convenient.

The taste was truly beyond expectation! It was delicious.

As expected from Osaka, there was takoyaki,

a variety of bread options,

and side dishes to go with rice.

And (though it's not in the photos),

the soup was totally my style (haha)!

The breakfast-inclusive package at this hotel

is also super reasonably priced,

so if you're looking for a simple meal,

I definitely recommend the breakfast package.
