1. Tashkent Airport Check-in
I recently arrived at Tashkent Airport to check in for my flight, having taken a Yandex ride to get there. My destination was Korea, and I was flying with T'way.

One feature I truly appreciated at Tashkent Airport was the escalator located right next to the stairs. When you're juggling luggage, having the option to use an escalator is incredibly convenient and made navigating the airport much easier.

Inside the airport, you'll find various shops selling souvenirs. While the prices are a bit higher than what you'd find in the city, it's great to have options for last-minute gifts or keepsakes.

I noticed a significant number of travelers checking in luggage for flights to Korea, which meant the lines were quite long and moved slowly. My top tip for checking in at Tashkent Airport is to arrive early to join the queue. Check-in typically opens 2-3 hours before your scheduled departure time.

2. Tashkent Airport Shopping
After clearing immigration, I headed to the duty-free area where I found several shops open, even late at night. They offered a variety of items, including dolls, local breads, and even sunflower seeds.

The sunflower seeds pictured in the middle were salted and seasoned, and absolutely delicious – I highly recommend them! You'll also spot a distinctive, somewhat hard bread that's a staple in Tashkent, similar to a bagel. It comes in various sizes, making it a great, unique souvenir to take home.
3. Tashkent Lounge Location
The Tashkent Lounge is conveniently located past the main shopping area, right next to the Tashkent Airport Hotel.

The entrance to the lounge, known as the Anjir Lounge, was quite impressive. I gained entry using a coupon from Trip.com, but if you were to purchase access directly, it would cost approximately ~$45 USD.

4. Tashkent Lounge Experience
The lounge is split into two levels. The second floor is reserved for business class passengers, so I stayed on the first floor.

On the first floor, I found convenient access to both shower facilities and restrooms. The food selection was quite diverse, offering a variety of dishes, and there was also a wide range of beverages available.

Desserts were thoughtfully prepared as simple finger foods, and a good selection of fresh fruit was also on offer.

I enjoyed a variety of options, including bread and salads. The staff were diligent about refilling the food items as soon as they ran low, ensuring a fresh spread.

Facing the food display, you'll find the alcoholic beverages on the far right. There were staff members stationed nearby, which made me a little hesitant to approach at first. However, don't be shy – you can definitely go over and get drinks! Just remember to head to the far right side for the bar.

After enjoying some finger foods and a light salad, I relaxed comfortably on the sofas. While a shower facility was available, I didn't feel the need to use it as it wasn't particularly warm.

Summary
The lounge offers shower facilities.
Alcoholic beverages are located in the refrigerator on the right, facing the food.
A good selection of meals, beverages, and finger foods are well-prepared.
The actual cost to purchase lounge access is around ~$45 USD.
