Holding and examining each item revealed quite a difference in feel and quality across the various types.

For magnets, many designs featured miniature representations of famous architectural wonders from Samarkand and Bukhara. If collecting magnets is your hobby, you might want to buy them all here!

When it came to dishes, there were plenty of lagan (large platters) and tea sets in the traditional Uzbek blue-and-white porcelain style. The vendors did an excellent job with packaging, using thick cushioning, which made me feel confident about packing them in my luggage without worrying about breakage!

The prices were quite reasonable, making it easy to buy without breaking the bank!
