The absolute best thing about Sujet Residence is its prime location. It is just a 2-minute walk to the famous Da Nang Pink Cathedral and only 5 minutes to Han Market on foot. The surrounding area is packed with incredible local restaurants and trendy cafes. Since all the popular clothing shops and dining spots are concentrated right here, you can easily explore on foot without spending a dime on taxis.

Since it is right by the main road, I was worried about street noise. However, heavy buses and trucks are banned from this area during the night and early morning. Regular traffic is quite light, so I slept peacefully without any disruptive vehicle noise.

When you first walk into Sujet Residence, you will find a convenient mini-mart selling all kinds of snacks and drinks. The reception desk is tucked just behind it. At first, I actually thought I had walked into the wrong building!

They have everything from instant noodles to various beers, soft drinks, and coffee. They even stock familiar international snacks and popular Asian ramen, which made me feel right at home. I found myself grabbing a few treats here every evening on my way back to the room.

Since I arrived before the official check-in time, I left my bags with the friendly staff and went out to explore, returning later in the afternoon.

The Room

Here is a look inside the room at Sujet Residence. It is relatively basic, and the polished stone tile flooring does not exactly scream high-end luxury, but it is clean and highly functional.

The room comes equipped with all the essentials, including a small kitchenette for light meals, a mini-fridge, and a hairdryer.

They provide two complimentary bottles of water daily. If you want to grab breakfast on-site, you can add it for about ~$4 at the first-floor cafe. Breakfast is served from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

My room had twin beds. The bedding was fresh, completely odorless, and very comfortable to sleep on.

They offer several room types to fit any budget: Deluxe King, Deluxe Twin (ranging from ~$19 to ~$26 per night on weekdays), a Deluxe Family Studio for three or more guests (around ~$32), and even dormitory beds (starting around ~$6). If you are planning a long-term stay and want to maximize your savings, a dorm bed for an entire month would only cost you about ~$192!

Here is the view looking out from the room. Because there are no multi-story buildings directly opposite, you can leave the curtains open without worrying about privacy.
