Planning a family trip to Da Nang in 2026? Dive into our detailed review of DLG Hotel Da Nang, featuring its fantastic breakfast, spacious suites, and prime location right by My Khe Beach.
This trip was all about water fun, and I had an amazing time exploring Danang, Vietnam, with my adorable nephew's family, staying at a fantastic place right by My Khe Beach.
It's not as widely known among Korean tourists, so I saw many international families, including Westerners, enjoying their Danang getaways. This actually made it feel even more like a true international escape, and I thoroughly enjoyed our hotel-vacation (ho-cance).
Last time, I introduced the DLG Danang Hotel, focusing on its great value, swimming pool, and rooms. This time, I'll dive deeper into the hotel's breakfast interior and menu.
2. DLG Danang: Recommended Rooms & Pool
During peak season, other value-for-money rooms were fully booked, so we ended up staying in a luxurious 62m² Executive Suite Ocean View room, including breakfast. While it can go up to the upper ~$70s per night during peak season, you can usually book it for as low as ~$69.
For a Partial Ocean View Deluxe Twin Room, which accommodates two adults and one child, it's an incredible deal at only around ~$48 per night, including breakfast, even during peak season! This truly is a value-packed hotel for a perfect My Khe Beach getaway.
I recommend you carefully compare the available rooms and prices not only at DLG Danang Hotel but also at other value-for-money hotels nearby to secure a discounted rate!
The overall interior was classic yet pristine, and the rooms, with their warm wood tones, offered a truly comfortable atmosphere.
With an outdoor infinity pool offering breathtaking views of My Khe Beach and a ground-floor pool directly connected to the beach, it's the perfect Danang family accommodation for endless water play with kids. Plus, the staff were incredibly friendly, which only added to our wonderful memories!
3. Hotel Breakfast Restaurant: Interior & Menu
Many accommodations in Vietnam offer excellent value, often including breakfast. However, during our trip to Danang, Vietnam, there were so many fantastic restaurants, and food delivery apps were so convenient, that we often ended up skipping hotel breakfast.
But since we were traveling with a young nephew, we decided to make the most of the breakfast, especially because it had plenty of options for kids.
After enjoying water activities almost non-stop all day, we were certainly hungry come morning!
The breakfast restaurant at our recommended Da Nang accommodation
is located next to the front desk on the 1st floor.

Many reviews suggested the breakfast quality was just average, so
I arrived with zero expectations. But to my delight,
the menu was surprisingly diverse and truly hit the spot!
I ended up having a hearty breakfast every single morning
during my extended stay.
There was a great variety of bakery items,
and cereals were also available.
The salad vegetables were quite diverse,
and with many cooked options available,
it's perfect for putting together a clean, healthy meal.
At the live cooking station, they freshly prepared omurice, fried eggs,
pancakes, and pho for us.
For pho, you could choose between chicken, beef,
or spicy pho.
The omurice, where you could choose your ingredients,
was served warm and plump, making it absolutely delicious – you really
must order and try it!
There was also a wide selection of juices and coffees,
and you could even make your own rich Vietnamese coffee, full of condensed milk.
The selection of fruits rotated daily, featuring pineapple, papaya, banana, dragon fruit,
guava, longan, passion fruit, and more,
If you lingered long enough,
you might even catch them bringing out more varieties!
You could also spot Western options like pasta, bacon, and sausages.
There were also comforting options like porridge and grilled fish,
perfect for even the little ones to have a satisfying meal. The sticky rice was delightfully chewy and tasty,
and dishes like mushroom braised ribs and stir-fried noodles had sauces and seasoning that truly hit the spot for Korean palates.
Gimbap was available too, but personally,
among all the gimbap I tried during my Da Nang trip, I never quite found one
that felt like truly authentic gimbap.
As someone who personally loves starchy root vegetables,
I thoroughly enjoyed the boiled sweet potatoes and corn.
But best of all, the steamed lotus seed paste rice cakes were wonderfully chewy and savory-sweet, exactly my cup of tea –
I honestly lost count of how many I devoured!
