Da Nang Mikazuki Waterpark Highlights |
✔️Enjoy indoor water fun even on rainy days!
✔️Non-resort guests are welcome to purchase tickets and enjoy!
✔️Access to both indoor & outdoor waterparks, plus hot springs
✔️Great for all ages, from kids to adults in their 70s!

Da Nang usually experiences its rainy season from September to December,
with particularly heavy rainfall often seen from October onwards.
If a full day of rain puts a damper on your sightseeing plans,
Da Nang Mikazuki Waterpark emerges as a fantastic alternative.
It's not just an indoor waterpark;
you can also enjoy outdoor water fun and even hot springs!

During my family trip to Da Nang, the day we had planned for Ba Na Hills
was unfortunately rained out, so we swiftly pivoted our plans to Mikazuki.
We visited without high expectations, but the indoor facilities were incredibly fun,
and the outdoor hot springs, especially on a rainy day, were absolutely divine!
Mikazuki Waterpark: Your Perfect Rainy Season Escape in Da Nang!

One of the standout perks of Da Nang Mikazuki Waterpark is that
its wonderfully equipped indoor facilities can be enjoyed even when the rain comes down!
✅Vietnam's first-ever indoor heated waterpark
✅Comfortable water temperatures, with heated water during winter
While Da Nang can get a bit chilly for outdoor swimming in winter,
Mikazuki Waterpark makes sure that even on rainy or cold days,
you can still enjoy water activities indoors.

The Mikazuki Indoor Waterpark facilities are
comprised of various options, as listed below:
✅Wave pool
✅Lazy river (Dragon River)
✅Water slides
✅Indoor kids' pool
But don't think Mikazuki Waterpark is just about indoor fun!

Outdoors, a lazy river and swimming pool,
and even a children's pool are all thoughtfully provided.

Just one thing to note, however,
is that when you're moving between the indoor and outdoor sections,
you'll need to pass through the main Mikazuki Resort building.
Walking barefoot could be a bit risky,
so remember to wear your footwear when transitioning.
Mikazuki isn't just fantastic for kids; it's also a wonderful spot to visit with adults!
And here's why!

It boasts incredible hot spring facilities!
You'll discover a gorgeous 4th-floor outdoor hot spring where you can simply stroll in wearing your swimsuit,
plus dedicated indoor hot springs separated for men and women.
When I visited with adults on a family trip,
they certainly enjoyed the 1st-floor indoor waterpark,
but the hot springs were definitely their absolute favorite!

The water wasn't super hot, so
as a Korean who loves really hot water, it was a bit disappointing, but
still, I was able to enjoy a warm hot spring bath on a rainy day.
There were also about two saunas.

Recommended Route for Da Nang Mikazuki Water Park

The 1st floor changing rooms consist of open showers, lockers, and washbasins.
When I first visited, I didn't know about the hot springs on the 4th floor, so
I went straight to the 1st floor changing rooms to change into my swimsuit,
enjoyed the water activities, and then went to the hot springs.
However, I later discovered that there was a more efficient route than that.

On the 4th floor of Mikazuki, there's not only the outdoor onsen,
but also an indoor onsen reminiscent of Korean public bathhouses.
It's important to note that you'll be using the changing rooms located on the 4th floor for the onsen, not the 1st floor.
Unlike the 1st-floor changing rooms, the 4th-floor indoor onsen area
features a space for showering and hot baths, just like a traditional Korean public bathhouse.
And here's a great perk: the 4th-floor onsen provides one free towel per person for rental.
➡️ Before entering the 4th-floor indoor onsen, pick up a towel.
➡️ Change into your swimwear in the onsen changing rooms.
➡️ Store your clothes and towel in the onsen changing room lockers.
➡️ Enjoy the outdoor onsen and water park.
➡️ After your water activities, shower/enjoy the onsen in the 4th-floor changing rooms, then get dressed.
The towels provided on the 4th floor cannot be taken outside the facility,
so the idea is to keep it in your 4th-floor locker and use it for your final shower.
This way, you don't need to rent an additional towel
and you can shower more comfortably than in just a regular shower room.
