Fusion Resort Da Nang Review: Ocean View Pool Villa

If you're looking for a jaw-droppingly luxurious Da Nang resort,

Since it's a brand-new resort that just opened in June 2024,

everything from the facility condition to the service exceeded my expectations,

giving our whole family a truly blissful time throughout our 4-day, 3-night stay.​

Fusion Resort Da Nang Lobby

Boasting a private beach along Non Nuoc Beach, Fusion Resort & Villas Da Nang is

conveniently located about 25 minutes away from both downtown Da Nang and Hoi An Ancient Town.

Since it's a bit of a distance from the city center, the resort also operates its own shuttle bus.

The clean, airy, and breezy vibe of the Fusion Resort Da Nang lobby!

It immediately gives off those calm, relaxing, and laid-back tropical resort vibes haha.

The lobby is spacious with plenty of seating,

making it a lovely spot to wait while gazing out at the scenery on the other side.

Check-in: 15:00 / Check-out: 12:00

Fusion Resort Da Nang

Upon arrival, you drop off your luggage first, and then you can sit comfortably while a staff member comes over to process your check-in.

The service was incredibly friendly and prompt!

They give you a brief verbal run-through along with the info sheet, which made planning our activities during the stay super easy.

If you're planning to join any of the paid programs, this is the perfect time to let the staff know.

Once check-in is complete, a staff member will grab your bags and guide you straight to your room.

There are ✅️two elevators on the left and two on the right,

and whichever you take, it's close to the rooms. Plus, we never had to wait long to catch one.

The hallways on every floor were pristine and always blasted with cool A/C!

They even had little seating areas in the hallways to rest—though we never used them, it was a really thoughtful touch.

Two-Bedroom Ocean View Premium Pool Room

The very first thing that catches your eye as you step into the room

is the incredibly high-vibe pool area set against the gorgeous backdrop of the Da Nang sea!!!!

That view and room instantly made me realize why everyone raves about Fusion so much...

If you want to enjoy both an ocean view and a private pool,

this room type might actually be even more satisfying than a full-on pool villa!

Living Room & Kitchen

With the living room on the left and the kitchen on the right, plus a spacious 6-seater dining table,

there was plenty of space for the whole family to gather, relax, and enjoy meals together.

The color palette was so beautiful, everything was spotless, and the sculptures and artwork were absolutely gorgeous...

First up, the welcome fruit provided on our first day!

We loved sharing the sweet bananas, rambutan, mandarins, longan, and dates with the family.

As soon as we stepped into the room, we were welcomed by the TV screen playing refreshing music...

It was fully equipped for OTT streaming with a great selection of global channels,

and having a Bluetooth speaker was perfect for setting the ultimate vacation mood.

The kitchen area and spacious dining table that comfortably seats 6!

Though you can't actually cook in the kitchen,

it comes with a fridge, microwave, coffee machine, and espresso capsules.

It had all the tableware we needed, which made enjoying delivery food and fresh fruit super convenient.

✅️ 4 bottles of water in glass bottles, tea, instant coffee, and capsule coffee provided

The Pocari Sweat was absolutely perfect to chug down after a long swim,

and the club soda came in handy for mixing with our fruit syrups.

There was also plenty of bottled water in the bathrooms, so we never had to run out to buy more—another lovely little detail that made us happy.

Bedroom 1: 1 King Bed

With a setup of 1 king bed + 2 twin beds across the rooms,

it was the perfect layout for parents in their 50s, adult children, and kids to have their own space while still feeling close.

Each bedroom comes with its own TV, table, and chairs,

along with separate bathrooms, making for an incredibly comfortable stay.

The quality of the bedding was absolutely top-notch.

It gave the whole family a deep, restful sleep every single night, keeping us fully charged for our daily adventures!

Everything from the mattress to the pillows felt brand new and meticulously maintained.

The bedroom windows also open up to stunning, unobstructed views of the pool and the ocean.

The moment you open your eyes in the morning, you can watch the sun rise right over the horizon.

It completely changes your morning energy, and even my parents woke up early every day to catch both the sunrise and sunset.

It was the exact moment we realized choosing the ocean view room was the best decision ever!!

There are outlets right by the bedside, and an LG TV with OTT/streaming capabilities.

You can adjust the lighting, and there are switches to control both the ceiling fan and room temperature!

For curtains, you get both sheer chiffon and blackout options.

They also provide closet space, bathrobes, a handy resort tote bag,

flip-flops, and even a scale!

The bag and flip-flops were especially useful when heading down to the main pool.

Bedroom 2: Two Single Beds

The second bedroom has the exact same layout as the first,

but features two single beds.

Since bedtime preferences can vary, it's great for adult family members to sleep comfortably.

You'll find the same setup here, including the closet, flip-flops, bathrobes, and a safe!

This bedroom also treats you to a gorgeous pool and ocean view right outside the window.

Since the bedrooms face each other across the private pool, waking up to the ocean view is guaranteed no matter which room you choose.

It was the ultimate way for our whole family to start the day with a smile!

Bathrooms & Amenities

The bathrooms are spacious, clean, and passed the test with great water pressure and hot water!

There is one for each bedroom, making a total of two bathrooms!

Each bathroom features double sinks and mirrors, which made getting ready together so convenient. Plus, the bathtub, toilet booth, and shower booth are all thoughtfully separated.

Complimentary bottled water is generously provided in the bathrooms too, and the hairdryer was surprisingly powerful.

Amenities include toothbrushes, toothpaste, a razor, cotton pads, cotton swabs, and a shower cap—everything you could possibly need.

In one of the bathrooms, since we were traveling with a child,

they had thoughtfully prepared kids' amenities! Such a sweet, detailed touch.

The bathtub is quite spacious, and with the provided bath salts,

you can truly soak away all your travel fatigue.

The space feels incredibly roomy because the toilet, shower booth, bathtub, and vanity are all neatly separated.

The shower booth features both a standard showerhead and a rainfall showerhead.

The water pressure is amazing, and the hot water runs instantly!

The body wash, shampoo, and conditioner are from the Australian brand APPELLES,

and I loved that each of the three had a unique, distinct scent! haha

(Personally, the Kakadu Plum was totally my style...)

Plus, there was plenty of clean space to set up your own facial cleanser and extra toiletries.

Perks of Having an Ocean-View Pool

The absolute highlight of this family trip was definitely our ocean-view pool!

It was the perfect private spot to splash around in, alongside our visits to the resort's main pool.

Pure heaven is being able to step straight into the ocean-view pool just by sliding open the doors from the living room or either of the bedrooms.

With a depth of 1.2 meters (the same as the main pool),

I was a little worried from the photos that it might be too small.

But once we got in, it was more than spacious enough for 1 to 4 people to comfortably splash around and relax.

There are queen-sized daybeds and beach towels provided on both sides,

making it incredibly convenient to hop out of the water and instantly lounge in comfort.

📍Perk 1: Swim Whenever You Want

While the main pool closes at 7 PM, your private villa pool is open 24/7. Whether the kids or your parents want to take a dip, they can jump right in anytime they feel like it!

📍Perk 2: Beat the Heat & Swim in the Cool Shade

Da Nang's sun gets incredibly intense by mid-morning, often heating up the main pool quite quickly. However, our villa pool gets just the right amount of shade, keeping the water perfectly cool and refreshing all day long! (Plus, less risk of sunburn is a huge bonus!)

Since it's on a high floor with absolutely nothing blocking your view,

you can see everything from Da Nang's My Khe Beach to Non Nuoc Beach, and all the way down to the shores of Hoi An in the distance.

The endless stretch of sandy beach and the horizon are just breathtaking.

Above all, feeling that sweet breeze blowing day and night

while catching the stunning sunrises, sunsets, and endless ocean views—or simply drifting off into a lazy afternoon nap—

made it the absolute perfect spot to just chill and chat. Haha!
